It's cute, but how inconsistent the premise was just kept me from being able to get into it

I kinda feel wrong for wanting these two together because.....Maki is a cat and Nico a human so is basically zoophilia? Or maybe not.....she's a normal cat or an anthropomorphic cat? ...I'm so confused...but it's cute.

Honestly they could have discarded the cat ears and just made her a runaway Nico took in cause pity or whatever and it would be more or less the same story but way more solid altogether. You can tell that author-san just wanted to draw Maki with cat ears lmao.
