something where the characters are lovers and are living in a slice of life setting (they have a house and a dog for example) but they also do spicy stuff?

maybe the two girls
- are married
- have a house
- take care of a little human who's like either adopted or their little siblings
- have friends who come over often/live with them and are like aunts

is that too much to ask

The first thing I thought of was Ebisu-san and Hotei-san, but that actually doesn’t have that much of what you wanted.

Maybe one of these?
Sweet Guilty Love Bites chapter 2
The Female Body
The Shape of Happiness
Up and Down + Helter-Skelter

is that too much to ask

… Yes.

My social energy battery has died and I need to recharge.
Please give this poor soul something that's heartwarming and has yuri / subtext / yuri-shippable.
It can be anime or manga and doesn't have to focus on romance elements.

I tend to not like stories where two girls are already a romantic couple before the story starts,
but please feel free to recommend them if you think they're good.

Notable titles that I have already read/watched are: Kase-san, Bloom Into You, Tropical Fish, White Lily, Bocchi, Cheery Amnesia, Maid Dragon, New Game, Yuzumori-san, 1x1/2, Flip Flappers, and Machikado.

Much thanks in advance!

I’m struggling a bit with the heartwarming requirement, but maybe you’ll like some of these. The ★ ones are among my personal favorites.

Manga:

Anime-only:

  • Kemono Friends (Only the first season!) (light subtext, very shippable since most characters are introduced in pairs of two)
  • Manaria GaysFriends ★ (strong subtext, no need for you to ship the MCs because all the other characters do it for you already)

Hey guys. I just recently finished Bloom Into You, pretty late, but I actually followed the story since the very first chapter. I also watched the anime after the manga. It was so good, definitely beat Girlfriends(my top one). It kind of left a big hole in my heart. Can you guys recommend any manga/anime that's as good as Bloom Into You or even better?

Please no 4-koma. Thank you.

^ sssssccccchhhhh Mmm... that's gonna be difficult, given that YagaKimi is my all time favourite, something that is and has been undisputed for well over a year. Yet the gap between it and some ongoing good ones has been slowly closing for a few months now. While not nearly as good, Whispering You a Love Song has some paralels with YagaKimi. Another good one, which I like much more than the first of the entries I've mentioned, is Hana ni Arashi, though rather than anything similar to YagaKimi, you should expect it to be more like a very adorable, often comedic yuri story with some drama sprinkled here and there. And then there are two good ongoing adult yuri stories - Teiji ni Agaretara and Crescent Moon and Doughnuts - the latter of which is, in my opinion, the best candidate to overtake YagaKimi one day. Also, let's not forget Can't Defy the Lonely Girl, which, despite the blackmail beginning, seems to be moving in a promising direction. All of them can be found on this site.

Better? Not going to happen. But in addition to BV's suggestions, other great choices are Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru and Kase-san. If novels don't scare you, also Adachi and Shimamura (has also two manga adaptations here, but you'll want the novel for the best experience).

I'll definitely give "Whispering You a Love Song" a try, I'm a sucker for that kind of artstyle. I haven't heard of "Hana ni Arashi" yet, maybe I'll try it too, I'm not very fond of the character design though, yes I'm sorry I'm kind of shallow.

The two ongoing adult yuri stories, I managed to catch up to Cresent Moon And Doughnuts. I like the story but, it didn't hit me how the 1st chapter of YagaKimi did. I don't know why. Sometimes I'm afraid no yuri manga will be as great as Yagakimi was to me. :( Of course, I'll also try Teiji ni Agaretara once I manage to catch up to your other recommendations.

About Can't Defy the Lonely Girl. I totally love the artstyle, I'm just hoping the story is as good. I caught up to it.

I'll definitely take a look at Nettaigyo wa Yuki ni Kogareru. Kase-san I already know about it and read it, hehe. I think I'm gonna go for Adachi and Shimamura, I heard there's an anime in production? I also read the 2nd manga adaption, Adachi is pretty relatable.

Thank you guys for all your recommendations!

Any rejection yuri drama oneshots?

Is there any non-lolicon, non-age gap series or oneshot set in grade school apart from Teardrops? I really liked it and I'd like to read something similar but I can't think of anything like that.

Only ones I can think of on top of my head is this and this.

^ I mean, technically the latter one is tagged lolicon, but it's two lolis lewding each other, not being lewded by onees, so I guess that may count as something Yaiba asked for if your really stretch your interpretation of what they're asking for.

Dynasty is weird and lolicon tag is used for both lolicons as well as lolis. It's really inconsistent in general. And no. That's what they specifically asked for. The "non-lolicon, non-age gap" clearly indicates they want the grade schoolers to be interested in each other, not someone older. They didn't specify if they're not ok with said grader schoolers lewding each other, but those 2 works were the only ones i remembered and I personally have no issue with that kind of content, so I left it up to them.

^ Understandable, have a great day.

Lolicon has a double meaning, as either an archetype (a lolicon character) or as a genre (a lolicon manga). The former implies age gap, the latter not necessarily. But now I realize that to avoid confusion I should have said "non-age gap, non-hentai", that's what I meant.

What are some good series were one (or both) of the main couple is a kuudere? I've already read Tsuki to Suppin.

What do you define as grade school? Are you looking for cute characters and a little subtext romance, or something heavier?

Have you read these classics?

I had to look up kuudere as I've never heard the term before now. Maybe the site should add that tag to make those type easier to find.

Ok, I'll try to ask this since I just re-read "Love Doctor" manhwa and certain interactions in it inspired my curiosity. So..I'd like to know what yuri manga or manhwa that left you flustered, would you recommend? I mean the kind of read where they didn't just get it on but made you blush or say "Oh my God" as you read it!? Thank you in advance to all who respond to my poorly worded and dumb question. Please stay safe and healthy and once again..thank you!

I don't really count Mari from Cheerful Amnesia as a kuudere, but I'll check out the others.

People who've read the My Next Life as a Villainess light novel, would y'all recommend the anime? I'm interested in watching the anime, but I vaguely recall someone saying that any possibility of yuri disappears partway through the series. According to briefly reading through good ol' TV Tropes, it seems that's true for one girl but not for the other two? I'm kinda hesitant to watch it since I'll probably be annoyed if it's not a yuri end, but, yeah, what'd y'all say?
