I played it and beat the main story and I thought it was fun, very condensed, but fun. I wish raids weren't so reliant on it being multiplayer, I mean it's not, but also it kinda is since the npc's you're given really suck.
I felt this game was more challenging. That may be because I'm a stupid pokemon casual, but some fights I felt I was almost gonna have to start over if I didn't have an item bag full of health items, it really saved my booty a lot.
I did end up really liking some of the characters though, despite it's shortness, but that's what the anime is for I guess, fleshing out these characters more over a longer period.
I wish they didn't do the wild areas because it's just very laggy and raids are annoying, but the main story and the towns are awesome and the gym leaders are cool.
it felt like any other pokemon game, to be honest.
the national dex thing didn't bother me because I never did that in any pokemon game anyways, also I wanted to use to new pokemon anyway because why play the new game if you're not gonna try the new pokemon in the new region.
It's fine for poke casuals like myself, but if you're a hardcore poke boomer, then you probably didn't like any of the new games past the DS anyways so don't even bother with this one either.

^If the characters have their names tagged, then I think u don't need it because you know who the characters are and their traits. For example, you wouldn't tag Dark Skin for things with Korra from Legend of Korra in it because she's an established character. That being said, I could be wrong though

I've been a pokemon for the last 20+ years and I loved it the wild area is laggy and all but it new to pokemon so I understand why it's not perfect. And nessa was the biggest problem for me she made me really think about what I was going to do.

@colboh I agree with you they have such a natural chemistry for how little they interact in the anime, and I also get angry what they did to both of them in the anime is as if they were trying to match them but at the same time they did not arggg, maybe to pass us a Little the bad taste that the anime left us with respect to this ship is that we could say that what happens in the anime with them would be the past before arriving to be what they are in the game in terms of their personality, attitude, form to see the world because the Enty of the anime has been hated by many and the fault lies with the authors T-T.

@masspao I mean, I think it's pretty safe to assume that the animé is NOT in continuity with the game, considering they gave Enterprise PTSD without killing Yorktown and Hornet. Considering how little thought went into the series, I doubt they cared about continuity.

Also, I'm surprised to hear you say people hate animé!Enty; I've only heard a few people complain about her.

@Nezchan In the manga, she never went through the first year crisis she did in the anime, and she’s definitely not anywhere near as abrasive as the anime. I wouldn’t really call her ‘motherly’, that’s more Nozomi, but she definitely has a big sister attitude, at least when she’s not praising herself or teasing the others.
