My friends from India are still getting put into arranged marriages.
I don't think they're a good thing, personally. But it still happens in a lot of places.

I mean, if it's what two consenting adults decide they want for themselves, there's little reason to complain, but inevitably it's all about familial and social pressure ... and marrying off your 14-year old daughter to some 45-year old uncle. ^^

This is getting dicey...

Yeah, Sensei looked like such a strong and authoritative (sorry!) person, but now she seems to have no strength at all.

Very realistic, though—a person like her has no standing to intervene between a father and his daughter in such matters. Fortunately, Yuki seems to be showing some backbone, but she’s otherwise pretty powerless.

We need a turnaround, and quickly.

The somber mood of the last couple chapters seems to be made even moreso by virtue of the use of softer, less angular and carefree art style. I wonder if it's intentional or if the artist just decided to change for personal reasons.

I'm just glad that the last chapter goes back to the original artwork, since that was a big reason this stood out for me

There's the age gap, and also the species gap if the size of her neck on the cover is anything to go by. The fact that it's a romance between a starry-eyed waif and a mysterious giraffe witch makes it extra taboo.

The earlier chapters have more of a cartoony style where as the last two chapters, their proportions and details are more polished.
It’s a subtle difference, but change of art style matched the tone of the recent chapters.

NGL, I would love to read about master and mei living day to day wherever they end up at.

I love this series and the author's style. It's very rare to see tall angular women with lipstick in manga nowadays, especially in yuri.
