Many of the women are trying to avoid men, hence them leaving their villages and joining Kidaha. They know they can't have children if they stay but they're OK with it. They all are happy with other women. It's a utopian paradise for women, no men needed!

Ironic back then when Io says they don't have the ability to help her child if anything were to happen, and in present day their successors now take in orphaned kids.

Anyway, my little heart kinda exploded that from the first chapter of this, with Sakina finding the village, to here near the end with her becoming the chief, gosh I'm so proud of that little nugget.

Also, the bonus chapter was hilarious and amazing.

I'm sad that it's over, one of the best Yuri series that I've been reading. Mira has great works, let's see what she will come up next :D

First two are Fana and Yuuri, they are the two seamstresses that had their own arc in Tumugi. Second two are Sato and Eru. They were Kidaha's wives but weren't involved with each other, they both broke up with Kidaha during the Kazitu Zenpen arc, when Kidaha and Io reconciled, in order to force Kidaha to "settle down" with Io.

The titty milk gun is the best part.

Is there some big age gap between Kidaha and Io? Kidaha looks so much smaller in that picture but Io looks about the same.

I don't think it's a big age gap but Io is definitely older by like at least a couple years. It's kinda implied that Io has already hit puberty/a growth spurt by virtue of the whole "age of marriage" thing, and while in that same time period Kidaha is demonstrably smaller, it's shown she shot up like a weed not too long into their travels.

That said I did a double take too, regarding that image. Mira seems to often have issues with proportion, and not just boobs. lol So I think the proportions are just off a tad too.

Surprisingly a lot of heart with a bittersweet ending (giving the abyssal life expectancy back then they may truly never ever see each other again).
But I like how consequent it was. What? They thought they can force to settle Kidaha down? Fuck! This! Shit! Of course with nothing to tie her down (causing the exact opposite of what her Exes trying to achieve, may even have been a very elaborate plan of Io's) she's gone off, probably to establish Smoke Mountain 2 with blackjack and hookers. Even Juna may get some, despite how incredibly rude and antagonistic she behaved initially.

Gahh the way my fave volume is the shortest one :( I love volume 2 the most. Fana and Yuuri are my fave couple and I wanted to see more of them so i loved the short cut in vol 3 credits. Mifuri and Katra pairing is a close second even though Katra kinda annoyed me (girl would actually sleep with anyone in smoke mountain it was amusing but also tf girl lmao)

Oh.. Io is def the hottest

Fabulous. I love how Io and Kidaha's relationship is depicted especially, feels a bit like Mira channelling Morishima Akiko.
