^One of Tomoko's friends (when Tomoko isn't driving her crazy) is a "delinquent" named Yoshida Masaki (usually called Yoshida). Masaki hangs out with two friends, Reina and Anna. Reina is Masaki's semi-nemesis; Anna is the leader and peacekeeper of the group, sometimes by force. She can be pretty callous to Masaki, who is at the core an innocent and gentle person. In the last chapter (142), Anna look a liking to Tomoko after Tomoko finally drove poor Masaki over the edge by embarrassing her with an extremely crude remark, and Masaki really punched her. This is the first time that Anna has spoken to any of the main characters except for Masaki.

The character (on the right side) is famously known for her catch-phrase "This is Tendou Maya" for calling out her name after winning an obvious fight in front of her opponent (and also proclaiming her love for potatoes with "This is Oimo" in one of the episodes). The artist made a pun with her name as "Tender Maya" instead of "Tendou Maya" at the end of the comic. Check out the anime or fanarts if you wanna know more :P
