This definitely my favorite Takemiya jin story,it isn’t as messy an it portrait a very genuine love. It also reflect reading experience, the more we learn about Satomi, the we like her and at the same time the more Nana know about Satomi the more she love her.

This leaves a weird taste in my mouth, perhaps it has to do with my difficulty at letting things go and all, but I feel like the older ones "manipulated" the young ones so they wouldn't get together when they were actually interested in each other... I don't know, it's cool they both found somebody to be with, but I don't like how it was done, hard to find it all sweet and stuff.

"I love you but I will break up with you if somebady knows about it".
"Oh, ok, I'm fine with it, love you too".

Is this how it end? Wow that actually sucked. So far this is my least favorite Jin comic. I can't get over that she never even attempted to get with her ex, and then they way Satomi got with her was pretty manipulative. It all seems rushed and doesn't sit right with me.

“You have to say it if you want anything to happen.” Consent? In my innocent yuri manga? What is this world coming to?

I really kept hoping she and her childhood friend would get together. Thats crazy because im usually not like that.

How did they "manipulate" them into not getting together? Literally all they did was throw them into the same room so they could see how they'd react. Youko was over it, and happy in her relationship with Moriyama, while Nana was pining over somebody she hadn't seen in years.

I can see people being sketchy about Satomi swooping in to catch Nana on the rebound (although we can see she didn't pressure her at all in the long term), but she didn't do anything to interfere with Nana and Youko or to poison Nana against Youko in any way. They literally just put them in the same place so they could see what would happen with them. Call me crazy, but I don't see what's so bad about that.

Edit: In fact she even confessed what she had done later to Nana herself. I'd even forgotten that part.

Manipulation tends to be more toxic and targeted at emotions. To me this seemed more like social engineering.

I loved this series, even though there was a lot of aaangst. In the end it worked out pretty nicely. My only complaint would be that it ended when it was finally getting real good.

Ah Moriyama senpai’s words ring true. There’s a lot of fakers like her nowadays, acting all nice and stuff to fit in. So refreshing to have that blast of hydro pump shot at the wench’s face (no pun intended). I give props to Jin Takemiya for pointing bulls*** out.

Takemiya-sensei at her best. Maybe you don't like the characters, but she pulls a good story out of them.

I like the line about needing to say things from Satomi. The whole "the other party knows, so I don't have to get out of my comfort zone and say things out loud" thing is annoying af in so many stories.
