anyone asking about Idolmaster, doesn't worth the watch like AT ALL, you'll need some strong googles to tweeze a little here and there but it's mostly subtle harem because the series it's not about the idols, but how the damned Producer (male) manage their careers and how he start to be part of their lives, quite frustrating

Except the Producer in the Cinderella Girls anime is so passive and fades into the background so much it's hard to see it as a harem. The one time the girls think that someone actually is interested in him that way, it turns out to be totally not the case. It's not really a yuri series, per se, but if it's trying to be a het one it does a really poor job of it.

^ I could actually see that being the reason they get close in the first place. Like, Tojiko finds out who Mokou is, and confronts her about it. After the initial fight, the two of them manage to work past their differences and eventually become friends. And some time after that, they slowly realize they're attracted to each other, but are scared to make the first move, which leads to this picture.

Come to think of it, another reason Tojiko x Mokou would work, even if they were just friends, would be that neither of them would outlive the other, since Mokou is immortal and Tojiko is a ghost.
