I guess I'll have to check the series sometime. Probably the anime since I probably wouldn't be able to play the games even emulating them on my PC. lol

There's no real need to emulate them, most of the series is available for purchase via Steam. I'd be hard-pressed to recommend the games, though, given how flawed they are. Or at least, Re;Birth 1 and 2 are. Playing RB2 actually sapped my motivation to continue with the series.
I've never watched the anime (because I hate anime), so I have no comment on that, but the official manga is on this site.

It is a sin to disobey God. Adam, Eve, and the serpent were punished for disobeying God. I'm really not a fan of this creation myth. it would be sooo much better if instead of Adam it was Ada and Eve and instead of a vengeful God it was a kind forgiving Goddess instead lol.
