Hey, you're not alone, I wish they could reconcile too. I just can't condemn Asuna for cheating; for me, what is abhorrent about cheating is the idea of betraying your partner or not caring about them enough, but here that's not the case. It's obvious that Asuna cares so much for Fue but receives painfully little in return, and that she would not be cheating on her if only Fue would do it with her. It's because she's realised that Fue doesn't want to do it, but can't just suppress her own needs forever, that she goes to Meru instead. Although it's technically cheating, the intentions are completely different - in fact, it's partly because she loves Fue that she cheats on her, because otherwise she would simply continue to press her with unwanted demands. I just can't for the life of me say that's wrong, though admittedly I am very biased towards Asuna since we don't see much of how Fue thinks.

yeah if you really love someone you don't cheat, if you need sex that much don't go out with someone and besides it called controlling your urges, look im going to get so much flack for this but people can control their urges as long as they put in the effort, one of my friends used to be sort of a nympho himself he couldn't go more than a couple days without sex, then he got a girlfriend and he put in a ton of effort to control himself, he has to my knowledge, never once cheated on her and is very happy from what he tells me whenever we gets drinks.

Ruki's & Sacchan's relationship seems more like friendship at the moment. I don't know, might be because they haven't been together for too long or they think a same-sex relationship is different than an opposite-sex one and they don't know how to react to that or I have no idea. I was rooting for Ruki when this all started but now I can't say I care for either of 'em that much at the moment.

I'm more inclined to think about Remi & Maasa who've basically become my two favorites, so I can't wait to see what happens to those two.

Wow, Maasa for the win. Her mild insensitivity gives a bit of stability for all the emotions flying around this chapter.
I love how Ruki gets flustered when Remi's around, although I hope we get to see more character from Ruki than being a lovesick puppy.

Boulimia is no joke. Sad that people feel the need to resort to those kind of extreme measures because of some ideal image projected by society. They forget the part that counts the most.

So far it also seemed Masaa is a good person to me, but considering this manga is all about superstitious appearance and the truth behind it I'd advise to be careful with any judgements. We see a lot of not nice behavior (cheating, gluttony & porn), but Amano uses this to then turn you around by showing you what is behind it. Which makes it a really good work imo.

Btw, calling Asuna a nymphomaniac might be a little drastic (especially if you also want to imply promiscuity, i.e. "maximizing the number of partners"). Perhaps she has a higher sex drive than some (definitely higher than Fue), but whether it's manic or not is hard to tell so far. Take a look at http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/the_feelings_we_all_must_endure_ch02#16 for example. Asuna tries, very politely, careful to instigate something and Fue immediately brushes her off. Asuna directly retreats. I think she does love Fue, but she's inexperienced with a real relationship (keep in mind all the girls more or less just entered adult life). She tries to do all for her beloved and not to bother her at all to the point of neglecting her own needs. Just like modern romance tales teach you to. Finally she kind of can't take it anymore and cheats. That doesn't make the act of cheating any better and it doesn't mean she "cheats because she loves Fue so much" (which does indeed sound like a bad porn script). No, she ultimately cheats because she strained herself too much. Stupid tactic. She was too afraid of confronting her girlfriend with her own needs. Sure, there might have been no solution at all (if Fue can't compromise, i.e. if they can't find a level of sex they are both comfortable with), but then they could have split up with a less messy cut.

I think this manga is all about that stuff. Things are not as black and white as they seem. People doing ugly things can actually be pitiful and easy to sympathize with, nobody is just an asshole out of pure spite.

Fair enough, I never said you have to sympathize with her. I was speaking in more general terms. The way Sacchan sucked up to her dickhead of a boyfriend, for example, was also "ugly" imo (cringeworthy puts it probably better) and I at first thought she's stupid. When she explained the story to Ruki however, I could understand her a little better. It was still stupid of course, but it was realistically stupid. People do that.

That being said I wouldn't say I "hate all cheaters" for myself. I usually do, but I'm willing to consider that there might be situations in which I could forgive such an awful act (note that that doesn't mean I think it's "okay to cheat"). I still have some hope that Asuna and Fue could make up if they just talked about it. Who knows, maybe a future story arc will explain to us why Fue is not keen on the physical aspects of the relationship. Judging from how serious Amano got with the bulimia topic, perhaps she's had some awful experiences in the past?

I don't know, but Maasa's unattached demeanor somehow makes her hot. I wish to know her more in the following chapters.

    I think Maasa and Meru would make a good couple :D out of all the couples in this series ( just my opinion thou ). Maasa knows how Meru feels thats why she just make a little comedy out of it which would stablelize Meru thinking ( more like she tells Meru to dodge the negative things in her). As well, Meru is rooted from her past and she doesn't actually have anyone to be tough enough to tell her what she shld do. She is not a stable character and easy to fall. And we see Remi and Asuna be mad at her but they just stop as friend that would help each other. Maasa would be an ideal characer for helping Meru to understand herself further about what to do; therefore, it would be a happy ending if Maasa be with Meru in the end but that would depend on Meru if she chooses to pursue herself to Maasa -if Amano made the series go in that direction-. Maybe the most sensitive one should be with the most unsensitive ( "weird" labeling ) so they would find something new in each other. ( im totally going ahead by myself but what im telling here also based on my experience ). Peace xD.

Meru is a mess!!! they give the best girl Maasa I frikin love her,to the worse, I like this combinations :) Is it me or I am thinking that Meru might be PREGNANT<<----I say this for the large amounts of unprotected sex, or has bad bulimia. I love Asuna not because she is a cheater but because I could totally connect with her. She's a sex addict...not really at the most sex addict like exteme but the beginnings she has it real tuff trying to control her sexual urges. I hope she gets back with Fue. Wonder who Remi will stay with. At the beginning I was hoping she will change her personality a bit its too bitchy, hope that changes a bit.

Maasa is definitely my favorite. Remi is a total hottie but she's a dangerous one. Also, Maasa and Fue remind me of my best friend and I, I'm always trying to wake her up during our college classes.

I don't really understand why people don't like Sacchan? I wouldn't say her situation isn't as complex as the others. After all, she just came out of a controlling, toxic relationship and now a dear friend of hers is in love with her. I do hope she can return her feelings eventually.

As for Asuna, she's probably the character I like the least. I don't hate her, but I'm irritated by how she cheated on Fue and how insensitive she was to Meru. I'm generally pissed off by how everyone (but Ruki, Fue, Sacchan, and Remi - though she should have known that scolding isn't what she needs) treated Meru. Urgh, people make me sick.

I don't think Asuna actually meant what she said in the way she said it. The look on her face tells it all, she looks more confused than heartless. I think because Asuna really did love Fue more than for her body she resents Meru a little bit right now because Asuna didn't always just go to Meru to cheat Meru also enticed her and tried to lead her back to her so they could have "fun". I'm not making excuses for Asuna cheating, but by the nature of her past Meru and Remi freeing her of her sexual repression and then feeding into it constantly has probably made her more of a sex addict, they didn't practice restraint with her and now she can't have a normal relationship which I honestly think she wants, which is why she is so messed up after breaking up with Fue.

I feel like you missed the entire point of everything I just stated, but then again it all comes down to education and the difference in information had.
