Unlike most oneshots, this actually needs a sequel. Not because it's really good (I enjoyed it, though), but because the story isn't complete. At best, this oneshot covered the exposition and rising action. We still need the climax as the beauty contest looms, and they have to compete against one another while the main character attempts to resolve the conflict of her romantic feelings and her desire to win.

Or something like that, anyways (gen-ed Lit courses paying off). It kind of seems like a lot to cover if the sequel is of similar size. Like, it needs a third chapter or something. I'm curious, but I don't go anywhere near raw scans. Things like that ruin the experience for me....

There's also the question of why the other girls dislike her so much. The way that was positioned in the story demands it be slightly more than throwaway justification.

Sorry, first time a comic has had that effect on me in a while (ever?). Pretty much everything by this artist is great.

God, now I wish there was an anime solely dedicated to animating oneshot/twoshot yuri. One episode or two for each with different animation styles for each.

There's also the question of why the other girls dislike her so much. The way that was positioned in the story demands it be slightly more than throwaway justification.

To be fair not really, she's a high school girl that is beautiful but rough and bad at socialising, thus fit in badly with the other girls making her a perfect target for bullying.

The art in this one is gorgeous. Unlike a lot of yuri where a character is said to be beautiful, but actually is rather generic-looking, both the characters really are stunning in their own ways.

I don't think it was "I'm sad" crying, it was more being overwhelmed by the sudden flow of emotions.

I think the story is pretty much finished.

There was no hostility on the other girls' side towards Tsune, so I guess a back story isn't necessary. They were just puzzled when they saw her because she should be riding the other train, but she did so just to be with her senpai.

Then there's the crying of her senpai in the end, which I guess was caused by her seeing Tsune blush and the realization that she likes Tsune, and that she had hurt her by saying she'd marry for money. Just a confession and we'd have a happy ending.

Or I'm just reading too much between the lines and can't wait for the sequel.. x.x

Yeah, he's right. I've felt this way about someone before (although, I didn't burst into tears in public... just at home)
