It's aa honest to goodness kiss... I think. I thought it was an honest to goodness kiss but I went back to check and saw that it was one of those "you've got cream on your cheek let me get that for ya" things. It was right next to her mouth, so I don't know... but sure looked like a mouth-to-mouth kiss to me. Goddammit, ambiguous framing! Still, even if they didn't actually kiss it's definitely not subtext. This anime doesn't skirt around their love like most do; nope, it makes it EXTREMELY CLEAR that they love each other as more than sisters. There's also the obligatory creepy stalker girl too who's definitely in love with Kana.

They're both technically 'forced', but at Nishima did it relatively slowly, didn't like, push her down or anything. It's more like she 'stole' a kiss, did it more playfully. And Kae's reaction afterwards wasn't straight up being traumatized and scared

That's definitely true, Shima's kiss was framed in a more playful manner. Kae was just super embarrassed and went all "it's a girl so it doesn't count!" after the kiss as opposed to her terrified (and justified) reaction to Nanashima's kiss... You know, what an episode that was, making me actually like the character I hated most then making me hate him even more... I heard the manga made his remorse more obvious, but, still, I find something like that to be completely inexcusable, even if he does have an "excuse."

I never believed for a second it was just a cream removal move, Kana's head inclination to the right and the reaction was a huge giveaway, i just found out the other day that there's this cult preeching that it was on the cheek and was baffled by its existence Then again, it was on /v/, so... Y'know

Phew, looks like I was an idiot for doubting the generosity and good sense of... whatever studio made Candy Boy, I don't know. I don't see the point of such a cult since, I mean, even if they didn't kiss... that still doesn't erase, you know, EVERYTHING THAT TAKES PLACE IN THE ANIME which shows their deep love for one another (I'm presuming it's one of those "they're not actually lovers, they're just REALLY CLOSE sisters" cults, though I'm probably wrong).

Can Penguin Drum counts as wincest? The siblings normally really treat each other like siblings, make their complicated relationship extra... intriguing. They are adopted through. There is unrequited love toward Kanba by his real blood sister, but it was really under radar

There is also Oreimo. Before you call it trashy... I recommend reading the light novel. I actually don't like the anime, but the light novel was one of the best read I had. It was genuinely good, like I was really missing it when it ends. (And there was a certain yuri implication too, depend on how you read onto it)

(and of course there is Toothbrush Screen, which... well speak for itself)

Edit: Mahouka counts as well i guess?

Anyway, I will be very disappointed if there is no Papika's "Mimi, give me your daughter" moment in Flip Flappers ep 12. The whole anime is set up for that one single words-play. Don't fail us!!

I don't understand why some people deem something trashy just because there is fanservice.
Echii is a whole category of anime, so calling something trashy because it's on character for its genre is not right imo. This word is pretty heavy to say without backing it up with some explanation.

I'm not a fan of incest at all, but Candy boy was pretty nice. It was more of a subtext to me though. That kiss in this end was portrayed more like a joke than romantic.

Starting to wonder if Cocona even had a dad in the first place. I get the impression that Mimi and Salt didn't have that kind of relationship, although they cared for each other. So I'm thinking maybe she created the pregnancy all on her own, or if Cocona in a way a child of Pure Illusion itself.

Well, to be honest Salt was too fast to realise the child was his (I means you can't come to that conclusion if the girl you love get pregnant without having sex with you). So I think Salt is really Cocona's father

Why didn't he take care of Cocona through? And why Papika shrunk and lost memories? Hopefully the ending won't disappoint us

That would be interesting, but they did hide his eye color for a reason all this time. It's the same as Cococa.

Unless that's to fool us, too.

Did he? He just realized she was pregnant. We were the ones assuming she was his daughter. The way the anime refuses to address it directly is weird, unless they don't want het exposition in a yuri subtext show.

The problem is: he can link the fact that: a) Cocona is Mimi's child with b) her being pregnant before she leave (his flashback). The only legit answer is: he know Mimi did something that can make her pregnant before she leave.

So it make most sense that he is the father. There is other possibility, but it's too fucked up to even consider

Fact is that they didn't show he making this connection, so it could still be another answer. If for some reason she could become pregnant by herself in pure illusion, or making Papika the father (I don't want that, though), Salt probably would know it, since he researched Pure Illusion.

But yeah, what makes no sense is why he would feel bad about letting her go away with the child. It's just weird how the show refuses to tell us "Salt is the father". And his action doesn't make a lot of sense.

In fact, if he let her go alone having that kind of relationship with her, that's pretty cold of him.

That really will be a big deus-ex-machina if Mimi can get pregnant by herself or with Papika somehow...

On another topic: my thought process when I read your post: Papikana is Cocona father,-> wait what about my OTP Papika x Cocona -> i guess incest is OK -> wait is it counted as incest if a girl make another pregnant with magic -> screw it, Papika x Cocona is still OTP :P

Funny thing is how Papi can be considered "father" in many languages. I don't know if Japan uses that (they use Papa,at least). But then we have Papika's both names.

Papi Ka (Papi!?)
Papi Kana (Maybe it's Papi)

I hope this will be just a joke I thought until the end...

He didn't know she was pregnant when she left as far as I can tell, he only realized that after she showed up with Cocona. Papikana tried to say it, but wasn't successful.

The thing that struck me as weird about the Salt/Mimi thing was that he said "your daughter" and not "our daughter" when he confronted Mimi. Yeah, I guess it's probably more that he doesn't consider Cocona to be his daughter considering all the other hints that support the fact that she is, but still would I love to see yuri science babies.

I saw the ending of Takkyuu Musume... It was very sweet, full of "doki doki" moments as usual. The ending was like those of Saki, showing what's to come, I'm gonna miss them a lot and sadly nobody is working on the manga so I can only sit and hope for a season 2.

Aaaaaaaaaaand Show by rock is also over, aaaaaaaaaand I'm still not watching it .-. how weird, I'm watching izetta... Chapter 6 now, GG glasses guy.

Same, I wanna see more matches and doki dokis ;A; It was a pretty simple anime, nothing too special, but I enjoyed it so much, it was so fun :') I'd love for more of it ;___;
Even if it did well enough for a season 2, it probs won't get one for at least some time, I don't think the manga is that far yet, its like, 4 volumes? I wonder if the manga is even doing well enough, for it to have gotten an anime.

Arc-v: So they finally became one huh...oh I can already see the yaoi fan-art coming. Zarc got pretty hyped up, so I hope he delivers!

If you liked the 1st few episodes, I can recommend the rest. It does get a little...uh...less fun? for a bit, but I think it's worth it. Retoree's final scene almost broke my heart

So, finished watching Izetta...

Geez the tittle couple embarrassed me with their gayness. Would want to know if they did it on mid-air during that moon watching scene (thought that it was just a kiss, but the camera pan up... so...).

And of course she was the last witch, not like she will have any offspring with Fine as her partner.

Rumour say that the new legend of the lesbian queen still pass to this day

I am so glad my instincts didn't wrong me about kyoani. ;)

Stella no Mahou, Ping Pong Girls and Izetta's finale were underwhelming; couldn't quite like them. :\ But the series were mostly enjoyable especially the latter. :)

Hoping for more slice of yuri in Long Riders last episodes. If only we get some blushes from Ami towards Aoi. >__<

Wixoss had some nice bonding moments last week. ;)

Not really a fan of Nanoha's verse befriending logic so Vivid Strike was whatever for me.

Ami should feel embarrassed too!! yeah -.-

My review of FlipFlap ending: This is (Not) the End. Lol, lucky for us we still have one more episode, not much to say, I just hope the animation gets better for the ending, today was lacking.

Loving her all those years... ARE YOU A LOLICON PAPIKA?!

Man, I'm going to miss Shakunetsu no Takkyuu Musume. It was straightforward but it worked well enough for me and the characters were likeable. And the yuri pairs were all cute.

This episode of Flip Flappers was back to being more similar in tone to what we've been used to after two episodes of info-dump, but it still feels like something about the general tone shifted. It'll be interesting to look back at the whole show once it's over.

Stella no Mahou was cute as expected. Overall, apart from the many ways to avoid animating the characters when they spoke that the studio came up with, it was fun to watch. It had creative jokes and some characters (especially Murakami and Fujikawa, although the anime kinda shafted her) that are more than a combination of two or three personality traits, which is surprising for this genre. I read/watch a lot of 4koma manga and anime adaptations and there's something different about this one. I have half a mind to look into the author's yuri porn, but the stuff available here has tags I normally avoid... If anyone has read any of it, could you tell me if it's decent or just really gross?

How did you find the latest episode?
Personally, half the time I was moved cus it was just great, and half the time I was laughing cus it was juicy af drama/development, like omg, Reina screaming that, I fucking laughed, so bold, so embarrassing. And when Kumiko looked at her, smiling, saying "dw no one believed it", I laughed even harder, I'm 80% sure that was a "terrible thing to say", and when Reina tried again, oh my gosh, the other three girls' reaction made it even better haha. Okay point is, idk if it was a good ep, yuri shipping-wise, but like, putting it all aside, I super enjoyed it, it was hilarious. Oh, and I screamed at Mizore's scenes, she was sooooo cute, her reaction to Nozomi's smile was adorbs. Oh, and when she just slowly approached Kumiko by taking those little side steps and "this is my best reed yet", plus the lil fist bump, aah, so fucking cute, I had to pause at her scenes to scream and then replay then, it was aaahhhh. And the sister scene ah, it was so good too, I'm glad Kumiko finally got those feelings across.
tl;dr: It was moving, and funny, and cute. Fucking enjoyed it 10/10.

Did it end with het or stay ambiguous? Is it worth to watch the whole series for it?
