I don't understand all this girl-on-girl Touhou stuff. Is everyone in Gensokyo, like, gay or something?
#headscratcher
I was recently informed that men do in fact exist in Gensokyo canonically and was visibly startled by the revelation.
In the Touhou universe you're only eligible for superpowers (and plot relevance) if you're a girl with funny headwear.
I think its more that only the girls get awesome, badass powers, cause we do see males with magical powers...just not combat-ready ones.
Men exist in Gensokyo. As normal humans. They live in villages with the normal females. Everyone, that has superpowers is female. Magicians, gods, spirits, monsters, fairies, and other supernatural beings. And there are lots of them. They don't mix with the normal people living in villages.
Supernatural beings meddle with each other only. So they are all lesbians of course.
