I thought I prepared myself for the outlets but my C plug adapters are too fat for the Zurich whateverletter outlets. At least they had one single Euro Type F plug which means my pretty neat adapter and then power strip (two US plugs + 5 USB ports) works perfectly. The USB ports are also 2.4A which means they will charge my PS Vita (which refused to charge on the plane as I think they were simply 1A ports. My phone charged slowly).

Looks like I missed a great song night here ^^

If I remember correctly you're polish. Zurich is close to Poland. (well, closer than USA). IF you have family there, that'd be the opportunity to visit them ! (Family, or even friends, or pen friends ;)

@Anon, work lol. Tuesday evening I fly to Athens. Then on Saturday it is back to the USA.

@Utoptia, I like my Vita. I mostly play import on it now. I have a PSP too... and I use it for imports as well.

Poland isn't on the menu, but my grandmother did want me to come lol. Company booked the flights and all so I couldn't do that.

I kinda gave up trying to concoct any worthwhile thought so i'll just go with a clear mind and see how it turns out maybe seeing me in person will remind her why she broke up with me in the first place and realize it's not worth it

I kinda like that, the distorted vocals stop being lyrics and become an instrument unto themselves, and fit in with the super-fuzzy synth pretty well.

It's cool when vocals are made more abstract, like in this track, although in a much different way.

Ebooks aren't old fashioned.

And as someone who prefers video games to reading, handheld consoles win it for me. Though I don't really use them as much as I did before. This is because of Love Live SIF on my Phone.

SC: Broken Destiny was such a disappointment for me. I know I got it with PS Plus but wow, made me sadder than Soul Calibur V did.

Most of PSP games were released on PS2 in less spartan manner. Just compare Vice City Stories on PS2 and PSP - the difference is.. notable, even with basic things such as frame rate.

I can make a case for fighting games, but that's all.

Gonna be that one gal to use a free out of jail card and say: yuri on a tablet.

Not too found of laptops for gaming tho.

Well, it's all about emulating games anyway, I remember trying to emulate PS2 titles way back with a dual core processor.

Well, looking at the statistics makes me feel like reading anything is retro these days. Heck, even normal newspapers are a dying breed.

First it was reading, then radio, television, now gaming.. as new generations grow sources of entertainment become better perceived over time. Sure, they don't die off, but their title for "lazy entertainment" gets lost after a while. Ways of using such things might change (netflix, e-books etc) but their core stays the same.

I found the game decent, but I used to play it a lot back in middle school with RL friends, so I problably have a too high opinion of the game. Even if I have some sweet memories of it, playing with Kratos and Yoshimitsu was really awesome back then.

I can get on board with this but ... How are you supposed to play a PS2 game in the bus, in the train or in your bed -.- ?
The point of the PlayStation portable is basically to play PS2 games in places you normally can't.

I'll take a fully fleshed out experience over the cut down version any time soon, portable or not.

I guess that gaming was never really a thing I did to kill time, but to actually play when I feel like it. To one each their own.

Playing a game to kill time, and playing a game because you feel like it aren't incompatible, I guess.
