Honestly I liked it. It's nice to see an author (or mangaka here) who's known to write stories (or draw/script manga) with positive vibes and then suddenly write (or draw/script) something with lots of drama, and less positive vibes along with different kinds of character types that you wouldn't think they would write about. It really shows that they have more talent than you think.
I bet that if there was a different kind of art style, and a less popular mangaka making this I would have thought differently.

The garden arc was pretty fucked up in AnoKiss and both Ayaka and Yurine have a lot of unresolved issues that Canno papers over with cute art.

I am so glad I popped onto the forum before reading this. The Drama tag sent up warning flags, but from reading this thread, it feels like inadequate labelling.

Based on what I've read in this discussion, I would highly recommend the addition of several existing and appropriate tags: Abuse, Aaaaaangst, Depressing as fuck, and possibly What the fuck am I reading?

If Micchan knew what was going on, she'd give up on Natsuko. And that's what you need other friends beside your crush for, Micchan, to tell you things like that and make you accept them. And it's wrong to say Micchan needs Natsuko to affirm her greatness. She's desperate to win and keep Natsuko's absolutely worthless, cold, black heart, and the only thing she knows how to do is to keep trying to impress her. If someone told her another way, she'd desperately try THAT, too. That's made abundantly clear in both chapters - that she actually has very little pride or self esteem, and Natsuko flipped from overly worshipful to disdainful and sadistic once she realized being cruel to Micchan was enjoyable.

I'm shocked that Canno decided to write a one-shot instead of cramming more characters into their main story.

Seriously! Short haured gurl was such a KIND NAIVE CUTIE and after i saw her ignoring and chuckling at her childhood friend, i just KNEW she was SADISTIC! O_o i can't understand why she'd want to see that sad HEARTBREAKING expression of her friend THAT MUCH?

Natsuko going out with the black haired girl with the intention to hurt Mifuyu to satisfy her desires and ended up hurting the black haired girl unintentionally as well doesn't sit well with me.

I don't like how black haired girl is just pasted into the story for that role. She doesn't even have a name!
