I forgot to ask something. When Momoka touched Akira's boobs, was she doing some kind of energy absorbing or something else ?

My take was that she was 'stimulating' the virus or something so she could see whether she could make the Valkyrie Drive effect (which was shown through Mirei and Mamori) happen. Same thing to the other girls who went for 're-examinations'

My concern with that is that she'll whoop Mirei's ass and
1) she'll take Mamori away somewhere so she can torture/rape/brainwash (last one is most likely) until she finds out what makes her tick
2) she'll try to take Mamori, but may Kasumi and Hibiki will Drive and save them
2.5) Kasumi and Hibiki Drive and fail to save them when Lady Lady shows up and whoops her ass
3) Lady Lady shows up and whoops Momoka's ass before she 'kidnaps' Mamori
4) both/one of them Kasumi/Hibiki and Lady Lady whoop Momoka's ass and the other people then join the fight and in turn beat them handily and then kidnap Mamori, and perhaps Mirei as well.

Before she wanted to get some information though, it's obvious she wanted to have some fun with her, cause you know, she's evil and stuff.

It'll probably be revealed either in the next episode or in the finale. It was shown though so. Pretty powerful thing, I was gonna say that it had to do something with the feelings/bond between an Ecsta and a Liberator pair, but looks like they have found a way to force it, so it's a little moot.

There's preview images of episode 11. One of them is interesting for me. Mirei turns Lady Lady into Arms. There's another one but I can't describe what's going on between Mamori and Momoka.

Pretty sure Mamori gets kidnapped, Mirei backflashes, LadyLady and Kasumi+Hibiki help Mirei rescue Mamori. Everybody is gathered for the endfight at the end of the episode.

Fuh! I think there's no big surprise this time. After reading episode 11 summary, I'm not very excited at all. But what is Momoka going to do with Mamori, I'll wait till the end.

come on ... seriously I cant even im done with this series It started somewhat well n it was showing some sort of respected value in terms of having somewhat of a nice plot, but they ruined the characters for the sake of fan service (like I knew the anime was fan service but still come on..) they over did it. Looks like Mamori can turn to the dark side by enjoying "rape". Cause you know i Guess in japan rape has always had an enjoyable side to it (exaggeratedly speaking...maybe)... Made her seem so easy and agh feels like I am watching a really bad porno... And we know how accurate porn is to real life... Hmmm, that was a classic example of Mindbreak/Brainwashing. Anyways.

Oh my god. This episode totally blew my mind.

Kudos to the writing staff that even with Momoka becoming an horrible monster by her actions on Mamori still manages to cause pity on the audience due how awful is her story. I really hope she can be redeemed somehow and join the good guys.

Mirei’s backstory was incredible and it was refreshing that it was mere coincidence she met Mamori when she did, it gives her pure love for Tokonome a whole new meaning. Also, is clear that both Momoka and Mirei have a type: Mirei can’t resist short girls with braids while Momoka is smitten for tall, tanned blondes.

Oddly enough, Mamori seems the most developed character so far. Poor girl just can’t catch a break, either she gets a pretty sudden awakening to her lesbianism or she becomes the toy of nearly everyone she came across. The little black crying cat pin at the end was simply too much. She deserves a happy ending as much as Mirei and Momoka do.

Charlotte was also redeemed due her undeniable love for Ange (and in minor scale, for the remaining Adel) and makes really sad that she was turned into a mere pawn. Hopefully she also gets a happy end.

Lady Lady and Meifomg were freaking awesome so I’m waiting for Kasumi, Hibiki, Akira and Torino to have their turn on the final episode. Truly this show is the revelation of the season.

It has to have a second season, right? ;_;

So the scene from beginning of episode 2 was misleading on purpose, making it look as if Mirei and Momoka were doomed when in reality they were completely fine. I have to say it was pretty clever, even if it made me really afraid of thinking what happened to Momoka during that 10 episodes. Also being forced to be enhanced against your will and having to keep on killing people is surly hell bigger than rape. Also Mirei backstory is so sad T__T

I'd give this episode 9/10 and if last episode keep that level, I'd give the entire series 9/10 as well. Seriously in last 2-3 episodes there was so much plot and so little fanservice. If you watched it right now, you wouldn't even think it "supposed to be mainly fanservice anime". And really, even with fanserivce, how you can look at all that dark stuff and still think it is only fap material?

I don't know what Valkyrie Effect is since it was introduced in episode 8. It's said to be the overloading virus or something else. If someone can explain it, it will be better. The result of this, according to my point of view, is what happened between Momoka and Mamori, an Exstar can "abuse" the other one into Arm. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I'm not sure either, cos they didn't properly explained it. From what I understood it is a really high reaction from Exstas while driving that increases their power immensely but at too high levels it become so strong it can affect them permanently (in exactly what way wasn't specify). Mamori used Valkyrie Effect with Mirei but it didn't affect her (except for turning into stronger weapon for the duration). The difference now I think was that Momoka forcibly made Mamori reach the dangerous 100 points state over and over again until she become so used to it that she couldn't refuse Momoka anymore and she become so addicted to the feeling that she now can't disobey her even when she wants. Look at the last scene again. While Mamori obeys Momoka, she clearly looks sad and unhappy. Again, it is pretty obvious she didn't change the sides willingly, was more forced to do so. Well I'm not 100% sure about everything, but I hope next episode will show clearly the reason why Mamori is the way she is now.

Basically what I feared happened to Momoka since episode 2, happened to Mamori instead.

I'm not sure their powers were upgraded. I think it is more likely that they could do it from the start and decided to go all out for the final confrontation. They are both Liberator and Exsta. So far one was always using other as Arm, but I think it is the first time when they both used their Arm power combining it into one powerful Valkyrie (see what I did here?) or if you want to get technical, they both driving each other at the same time creating one powerful arm. J alone was a bike, with their power combine transforming into jet wouldn't be so far fetched. Again, that is just my interpretation.

イベントでも言ったけど…最初まもりでオーディション頂いたけど、これ私じゃない気がするって思ったのと、そこに百華のキャラ台本もあって目を通したら凄くやりたくなり、マネージャに「こっちもやりたいです」って言って、テープオーディションだったので一緒に出したら百華が受かったのです。

I also talked about this in the event but in the beginning I actually got the offer to audition for Mamori. Somehow I didn't think I was the right person to voice her though, incidentally I also received Momoka' audition script. I took a peek at the script and as I read it the desire to voice her rouse inside of me. I told my manager that I wanted to audition for this too. It was tape audition, so I sent my audition tape for Momoka along with Mamori's. In the end I got to voice Momoka.

Also, I discovered she's a bit of a perv and a huge Yuri fan. Momoka must be her dream role.

Me too! They made it easily to my top yuri couples ever. Especially that last scene with J and Rain before they got kicked by Momoka

I wonder...I can understand why VD would sell low. But what I don't understand is how come other anime that are much more generic and simple get a second season. Not all yuris are good, I find some of them very boring. But VD has everything.
I guess the combination of ecchi and yuri doesn't sell well is what I can think of maybe.
