yup that could work. there was a teacher over here in the states that went to prison for having an illicit relationship with one of her students. turns out that after she was released, they got married IIRC. while on one hand, you are not suppose to do things like that, it can sometimes bear really interesting fruit (in the above case true love?)

If it's the one I'm thinking of, it was back in 2009 here in England. A music teacher in her mid-20s and a 15y/o student had a relationship, the teacher got sentenced to a bit over a year in prison.

One reason it was in the news a fair bit (besides being a lesbian affair as opposed to most similar cases which are opposite-sex) was because the student spoke out and said that, as she'd be 16 when the teacher was released (which is the age of consent here), she intended to continue the relationship.
