For anyone interested The Shadows of Pygmalion has been picked up by MangaGamer as well. Another yuri game that is 15+ but is a little darker.

Sadly this is one of Propeller's worst games.
While not a super bad visual novel as a whole compared to other visual novels on the market, it's very bland and has a story riddled with plot holes and kinda bad pacing and it's definitely not as good as Yurirei (which is probably the best Yuri VN in existence right now). It's basically a title that feels like Propeller didn't really care to put effort into.

Also, the game has tons of technical bugs that literally make it unplayable (crashes left and right) and even force you to skip chunks of text that would otherwise crash your game if you read them (hopefully these will be fixed in the localized version though).

Although I have no doubt that if you're a real yuri die hard fan, you can probably take some level of enjoyment out of it.

Something important to consider is that this releases can be the only chance we have to prove at localization companies that yuri VNs have an audience and a place in the market. Maybe the stuff they've picked so far isn't of the best quality, but baby steps.

Thing is, yuri VNs really don't have that big of a place in the market to begin with. Most of the decent ones are currently localized already, so you're kind of running out of material on Japan's side.
I guess the SonoHana series is a possibility (And MG recently partnered with one of the subsidiaries so there's hope!) but outside of that you'll be grasping at straws to find good yuri VNs to localize.
And by good I mean yuri VNs that aren't just straight up porn.

I'd like to see Seisai no Resonance being localized, if anything.

Read a bit of arguments going on, the only sound argument against the content is that Valve openly admitting an erotic VN might cause an influx of actual pornographic content creating a large storefront of shoddy porn... Well, we already have ecchi stuff in there, and VNs with an uncensored-patch linked on the game's pages sometimes.

Given that this game is story driven and it's sexual content rather tame, Valve is probably testing the waters on the matter, to see if ppl want this. Hopefully, if ppl do, Valve will curate what makes it into their store?

And apparently the translation is a machine one, meaning it's really bad, so if they are releasing it with that as well, I'm imagining a lot of negative reviews, regardless of how Steam feels about porn games. That is without keeping in mind that Okujou isn't really a 'porn' game.

Maybe they'll put Euphoria on steam too in future.

I'm glad I read this thread. I've seen some really good recommendations and possible upcoming Yuri VN's to consider in the future. I should have known the best way to seek out Yuri games was to browse the Dynasty forums. Very good information being laid down. I feel as if we on this medium are so used to the sub-culture of homosexuality in Japanese-related media that we look at all these yellow journalists trying to claim expertise and just laugh. I'm hoping we can pave a path of Yuri acceptance and embrace for the world of PC gaming. After all, this land is made of love and peace!

Is it an actual lesbian relationship though, or just another of the quasi-homophobic guilt-ridden, sinful-desire subtext "relationships" that so many yuri authors just can't stop riding to death, cause frankly we could use a little less of that in mainstream.

I have not played em myself tho, only the Sono Hanabira one. And I snooped around another called BackStage Pass has a yuri route (you can see the CG of the yuri route in the community hub), tho seems like its a tedious game. Sakura Fantasy Chapter 1 is yuri-fanservice, so far no actual romance.

I don't know much about anything else other than what the curator noted on them.

YEAH! Subtext-dumbfucking is the cancer, that is killing yuri.

yuri was never alive to begin with, so subtext are more like desperate and weak gasps/attempts to live :p
