I've seen larger age gaps on here, so this didn't really jump out at me as "Pedo", but it seems pretty close.

I liked how its simple though

It ended a little too suddenly - and the namesake never came up! - but it WAS pretty cute. Liked it, hope to see more from the artist.

More like hebephilia than pedophilia since she is probably going through puberty JUST SAYING also they never disclosed the cashier chick's age so who knows. Art was not my style whatsoever, kind of feel like the artists didn't give it a lot of serious effort. The plot was alright, but it could have been a bit longer. Probably not in my top 20 one shot wise, but definitely not at the bottom of the list either. It had it's unique traits that made it enjoyable in it's own right.

They are just friends wtf are you guys talking about. The main character is just kinda lonely so she is really happy she found someone who shares her interests.

Cute. would be nice to see a sequel or series made from it.. i'd honestly like to see more series that have an interesting age gap story, dealing with the difficulties of trying to have a relationship like that. differences with generation, obviously in this case being frowned upon in society due to one person's young age, things like that...

A good example that you don't really need great artwork to make a great manga. It's really simple, both artwork and story, but it's really good, too.

i would think the cashier like 17-20 since she works at a book store and the other cashier dosent find it too odd so she cant be like in her 30s :P

IIRC Middle School was 13 and 14, then High School 15 to 17. So she'd be 14.

The cashier could be anywhere from 19 to 22 years old, I guess. Suppose she graduated and started working, then the humdrum of the work force could have gotten her within a year.

Although the artwork is really rough, I think it benefits from being consistent in the way characters and facial expressions are done. Their depictions are simple, but you can pick up the vibes and there are no slip-ups. It's kind of like Ratana Satis' immaculate anatomy, just... erm, in a simplistic way.

I like how everyone calls pedo while there are plenty of much larger age gap stories on the reader that never received such comments...(even jokingly)

I really liked it. That young adult feeling of laziness and aimlessly doing nothing is wonderful (and possibly being caught up in something interesting that breaks those habits). Makes me want more like it.

I second this. I liked that simple, mundane slice-of life feeling this story has. The paneling did a great job of showing how uneventful the older chick's evenings typically are.
