It's been a while since I read the early novel chapters. How closely is this following the novel? I feel like they might be compressing some of the events and speeding up their feelings (which would make sense since there are 400+ chapters). Or am I misremembering?

We're currently on novel's 23th part. You're right they're compressing monologues a lot, for obvious reasons. I dont think they are speeding up their feelings tho, the slow burn seems the same to me.
