I mean I agree that there was room for a lot more and it's sad to see it end already, but idk if we can really say for sure if this was Yasaka Syu's decision or if it was Kadokawa that axed it. Especially considering that volume 3 (presumably) is about to end while volume 2 still hasn't actually been released. I don't have a lot of experience yet so idk for sure how bad a sign that is, but it had been worrying me for a couple months now (especially compared to how volume 1 released like a month after chapter 5)

Ahh were finally back! I've missed our Rizz queen and her idiot girlfriend.

I love that the first thing she thought off after their little fight was that the sleepover was doomed.

I'm curious if we will meet this new friend of hers as well.

Also love that they both got jealous our babies have grown so much.

And no one in the house but them.. shenanigans are bound to happen right? They seem to be quite used to kissing and making out at this point. All it will take is one smooth line from the queen to get Hayami to end up sleeping in the same bed.

Shame that chapter 15 will be the last was hoping for more development and the other friend that lost to get her a a new love interest as well. So much more we could have gotten.

It is a shame it's ending at Chapter 15. It feels like there is alot more to explore with Hayami and Ayumu as if the author struck gold but was unable to move it out.

I am not too privy with Yasaka Syu's previous work aside from hearing about the controversial ending, so a part of me feels a little relief that it's ending before it could trip but man, Hayami and Ayumu have so much charm together that I really want one more cycle of date -> drama/angst/introspection -> romance sort of deal before it's over.

Getting jealous is a part of romance, sadly, especially those first few loves, when you're still figuring things out! These two have a very solid bond by this point; I'm sure they'll patch things off in no time :)

Personally, I think they are not perfect for each other, but they are both aware of their own rough edges and determined to make their relationship work, anyway. Self-awareness and commitment are much stronger foundations of a healthy relationship than initial compatibility IMO.

Read this story from beginning to where we are now. I’m not a super huge fan of it. They’re cute though

I never really thought about it, but there is a subtle but important difference between being 'perfect for each other', as you said and argued they're not, and being 'perfect together', as I said and what your argument in the end amounted to as well.

Love that Ayumu consistently has that dog in her. Also seems she figured out pretty quickly that her flashes of jealousy and personal insecurities don't nearly outweigh how much she values the relationship. I see the series is ending, but that could take a lot longer in other places.

expected nothing and loved ayumu as a character , she was suppose to be a loner closer to a kuudere in chapter 1 but then she becomes rizz queen soon enough and dominates the heart of that tomboy. Boi do i want this to last 30+ chapter but i kinda expected for it to be short.

it's always sad when romance manga don't get to take the horimiya route

On one hand, they have only just begun dating and both of them are kinda dumb when it comes to anything else beyond kissing so I'm okay it just kinda fizzled in confusing embarrassment, but also come on, it's kind of a bad tease to literally have this before the final chapter.

Victorian mothers would probably disapprove of girls kissing in general but past that would approve of their sensible shame towards each other leading to a healthy sexless marriage and purity. A lot of kissing maybe though, not in public.

That line gave me such a laugh. That was one of my favorite bath scenes ever in a yuri manga and it was short and literally nothing happened... Well all but Ayumu turning into a puddle of goo that fell out of a UFO apparently.

These two might be morons as the title says... But their communication skills are next level. To actually both apologize about their argument and apologize and explain what was eating at them is something it takes some of these couples forty chapters and huge misunderstand after misunderstanding before it gets cleared up.

We also got a bit of Rizz even from both of them I didn't expect Hayami to strike first with that kiss either!

Also did anyone else notice that they both ended up "sleeping" on the futon of the floor and not even using the bed lol? That was a cute touch especially since they ended up getting zero sleep that way.

Ahh I'm so sad next chapter is the last hopefully it's an extra long one and we get two parts like we've been getting. It's so sad to see this series end. I will very much miss both of them.
