I can't entirely relate. I was isolated and fairly antisocial, but I guess not socially anxious as such. So I was more thinking "God, this is so stupid, but it looks like I have to pay at least SOME attention to it because it looks like I'm going to get targeted again. When can I get out of here so I can pay attention to a good book?"
