Ha no not Hades daughter but Saeyhun (Is that his name) that gave Sumin the scars.
It's Saehyun^^
Lmao... still can't get it. Is it "chance"? what is it?
Wow.... okay.....
Yet I choose her silent bubble as the answer for now. I still think that sumin really like sungji too and want to make her happy, by giving this relationship (blonde team) a chance.
That's why sungji or seju ending is still plausible for me.... Seju way more

I'm a minority on here i think (Not a fan of Seju) but I'm not sure on the end couple myself anymore. Everyone deserves a chance of happiness even if i don't like them.
I dont think there is a character in wdtfs among the main three that you could hate or don't like xDDDD, unless you hold some kind of criticism towards one particular character xDD, but tbh, each character has something for you to criticize her, just when you dislike someone, you focus on that and keep hating on that flaw. But overall, I dont hate or dislike the three although I wish Sungji could be more "human" =)))))))))))))))).

sigh I don't know what i want anymore. This comic got me feeling all sort of emotions and I am conflicted...

Since I feel like it's really almost the end. Can I just ask how many of you guys are betting on a Seju/Sumin Ending VS. Sunji/Sumin right now? I always thought that Seju/Sumin was the possible dark horse in this race to Sumin's heart. Logically, in the beginning I thought that Sunji/Sumin would be the end ship(just because they were always shown) but after learning more about Seju/Sumin's backstory and everything else that has already...I have to say it added depth to the story that I just had to follow because it didn't feel like a typical love triangle story and now I think anything really is possible.
As how the story is progressing, I'm currently going for neither of the two couples xD, they feel off for some reasons but if I got to choose, even if I bet for SuminxSungji with Nora, story wise, SejuxSumin as the ending couple is more meaningful than SuminxSungji. Note that its not that because I like Seju or anything xDDDD, SejuxSumin's back stories and love is kinda more open and heart-tugging
The most beautiful thing I love about this love probably is about the mix between seer blissful happiness and deep heartbreaking sadness. The supposed-to-be-perfect couple turned bad and to a heartbreaking couple who never be able to get back with each other. I love all the heartbreaking scenes of them(the break up, the tears, the scenes in this chap) as much as I love all the happy go lucky them in the past. It's tad opposite of each other, those scenes (you could see it clearly this chap, how different present and the past are) but I really love it. I love all the questions "why", "what-if" in their relationship, regrets, sadness.... xDDDDD.
SuminxSungji, this relationship has always been so careful, like tip-toeing around each other, one is afraid of hurting the other, one is afraid of being left behind XDDDD. They're always cautious and careful around each other so even in their happiest moments, it still feels kinda not deep enough. I dont know how to really describe it but I supposed to feel something about this couple because they're everywhere but I don't know, I do find some of their moments are cute and all, like how a main couple should be to lead to their ending, but if I put them beside SejuxSumin, it feels like they're not enough, in depth and bond, they lack of something, something that I could put the word "forever" between them xDDDD. "Forever" or "fated" is some implied theme in wdtfs anyway xDDDD
overall, tbh, I'm totally fine if SuminxSeju is not a couple at the end, but I will be really disappointed if the author lets Seju move on with another person XDDDD. Beyond disappointment, tbh.

You are very funny, yoonie0104. XD
You seem to be on Nora89's side, yet you are betting against her.

That's what fun is about anyway, if everyone has the same thoughts or ending scenes, that would be no fun xDDDDDDDDDDD.
But joke asides, when we took that bet, I honestly thought SejuxSumin is impossible (still is, btw), not because I supported SuminxSungji for their love but because the other couple is not plausible so I went for the couple that everyone should love xDDDD.
Even now, for Seju and Sumin to be a couple, it's still a long way and if I'm not wrong, with Seju's tone this chap, she has already accepted that seperating fate xDDD. Yes, she is holding on but with her final words, it seems she knows it's hopeless xDDD. She'll hold on till the day she has to really say good bye xDDD. Its like both of them has accepted to separate but to her, it's still too hard to do so, that kind of thing xD. She knows they cant go back and they're already too broken xDDD.
The most awesome thing is in their talk, there is no third person(Sungji was only mentioned with the not telling her about this), just them and their problems XDDDD, why they became like this and all. They knew their problem was from within, and how they ended up here is not from the third person. Why they're broken and be separated even now is not because of the third person but themselves. It is implied but so awesome because alot might saw it as a love triangle where Sumin left Seju because of Sungji xDDDD.

hehe.. since you are at it.. doesn't feel weird that Sumin's first girl after Seju was the scent shop one, Sumin had the tattoo when she revenge slept with her.. but in ch14, you see Sumin talking about breakups and ex'es while her tattoo is not there.. and it's her dream.. why did Gaji do that!
once, Foxy lady mentioned something about the symbolism of the hair color.. since we are at it.. and discussed what Ms. Choi represents to Sumin.. why is her hair color Maroon and Seju's hair is Pink ?
what is the relation between those to colors ?
If you get the chance, can you please elaborate on these two points? With the hair color, do you mean how white and black are direct contrasts or opposites of each other? And it is interesting how the tattoo was not there. The background was black, not gray, so it is deceiving. Chapter 15 does confirm it was a dream.
that's if my calculation of the looping incidents is correct.. if so, then the Manhwa will end by 28th of July.
Hmmm... We'll see, hoping it will end sooner rather than later.

That point is debatable and depends on your perception, but I get what you mean. Personally, I thought their conversation went against what many Sungji and Sumin supporters were hoping for: that Seju will just give up and leave. That seems less likely based on that conversation. Not impossible though, because the manhwa has not ended yet.

Yes, the conversation is for all people thinking that Seju would give up and leave, I agree with that. I hope you do get what I really meant xD. She knows that they're are too broken and its nearly impossible for them to be back xD, the "why did we become like this" and "I know that as well" after Sumin said nothing would change. She knows it xD, that they cant go back and all. But it doesnt mean she'll leave Sumin or forgetting all of their memories xD. She will forever hold on to it, no matter what. That is the thing I like in her words, she acknowledged the broken and hopeless part but she chose not to forget it or moving on. I really like it.
I dont think they could go back as a couple like before either xD, but they could go "forward" as a couple xDDDDDDDD, if you know what I mean. But well, still a long wayyyy for it, and we have Sungji xD, I would never drop her out of the picture xDD.
And about the bet, hehehehe, lose or win is not important, just I do hope its a justified ending xD, after this chap, going for either of ending couple is not an easy task, and I really wanna see the progress of it xD.

At this point, in all honestly, the most justified ending is kind of obvious. Whether it will happen or not, I do not know for sure. And yes, I do understand your point of view. There are things that still need to be addressed, but the road does not seem too long. Let's see how these next chapters play out, I really want to see the progress of it as well. :)

I tend to analyse the Manhwa a bit in a dry way.. this is refreshing ~

at least you acknowledge the risk loving attitude of mine AND determination.. hehehe a month ago you were teasing me about losing !

about the hair color.. we discussed that for Sumin, Ms. Choi is a version of Seju somehow.. similarities in physique, social status and even what both demanded from Sumin (just be by my side). Whether Seju is indeed different than Ms. Choi, that's another matter. (which Sumin later discovered)
back to the hair color:
Maroon = Red + Black
Pink = Red + White
is it a hint by Gaji to signify that Ms. Choi is a darker version of Seju?
why Pink for Seju? what does that color mean:
let's read this:
Black+ Red = Maroon!
Red: desire, danger, power, speed, passion, love, lust, sex, aggression, heat and fire. It represents all things intense and passionate.
black: grief, serious, professional, and conventional, but black can also represent the mysterious, sexy, and sophisticated. associated with the unknown or the negative.
what about Pink?
"The color pink represents caring, compassion and love. The pink color stands for unconditional love and understanding, and is associated with giving and receiving care. Since pink is a combination of red and white, both colors add a little to its characteristics. It gets the lust for action from the red color, and the white color gives it an opportunity to achieve success and insight. Passion and power from the color red, softened with the purity and openness of the white color completes pink color meaning.
Pink is romantic and intimate, feminine, loving, caring and extremely considerate. It tones down the physical passion from the red color and replaces it with a gentle and loving energy. The color pink is insightful and intuitive and it shows tenderness and kindness from its empathetic and sensitive nature.
In color psychology, pink is a sign of hope. It is a positive color that inspires warm and comforting feelings. The color pink gives the feeling that everything will go well or be okay."
same analogy can be applied on Yellow (Sungji's hair) and brown (Sangmi's hair).. Nammi's hair.. and Sumin's
so that's another depth to Gaji's art!

The layers to this manhwa just keeps increasing. XD
Again, well said. And the absent tattoo in chapter 14?

I forgot to mention that Gaji was conflicted between grey and orange for Dawoon's hair.

I will get back to it as soon as I arrive to my distination XD

Haha, okay. Thank you for the taking the time to explain all this.
I don't think Sumin had the tattoo when she slept with the scent shop girl.

Taking the panel as it is, you have a point, you cannot see it. But later in chapter 27, when Sumin first "came back" to Seju, she did have the tattoo.

Speaking of pink inspiring hope...
It made me think of this song, I highly recommend a listen. :)
You can go
You can start all over again
You can try to find a way to make another day go by
You can hide
Hold all your feelings inside
You can try to carry on when all you want to do is cry
And maybe someday
We'll figure all this out
Try to put an end to all our doubt
Try to find a way to make things better now and
Maybe someday we'll live our lives out loud
We'll be better off somehow
Someday
Now wait
And try to find another mistake
If you throw it all away then maybe you can change your mind
You can run, oh
And when everything is over and done
You can shine a little light on everything around you
Man it's good to be someone
......
Cause sometimes we don't really notice
Just how good it can get
So maybe we should start all over
Start all over again

I would say it is heavily implied by the chapter. You can think what you want though. :)

The only way to really confirm it for you, it seems, is to show another panel of the scene with her left arm. I obviously cannot provide that for you.
It does seem pretty straightforward though.

Alright, about ch14 last panel..
we have to agree on this, Sumin had the tattoo on when she first came back to Seju after their breakup in ch27 (you came back..), implying that Seju never really saw the scar without the tattoo.
ch14, last panel.. is a dream, where Sumin sees herself scarred on front of Seju.. facing her face to face.
ch86.. Seju slept and dreamt about herself still wearing the bandage.. but later on in the dream.. the bandage disappears.. (at least subconsciously)
my inference on this that they both see each other's imperfection and they know that the other knows their scars, mistakes and their real self. I even mentioned before, in ch14 Seju was licking Sumin's scarred shoulder.. and Sumin in ch86 is doing the same to Seju's.. as if they are accepting this emotional and physical imperfection as a part of their relationship (whatever it is)
I forgot to mention that Gaji was conflicted between grey and orange for Dawoon's hair.
Did she say so? Or is it implied?
Team Gaji wrote about it on her blog in Naver
page 4

my inference on this that they both see each other imperfection and they know that the other knows their scars, mistakes and their real self.
Hence, their greater intimacy. I wonder what Team Gaji plans to do with Seju's scar. It will probably just fade away on its own, I am assuming. You cannot really cover up that area, maybe with a choker.
My one question then is why is the dream in chapter 86 in grey but the scene in chapter 14 in black like all the other flashbacks?
