I believe Lezhin have publishing rights only, which means after the contract ends they can continue on another platform. I honestly just wish they'd start writing a fresh new story elsewhere but then i guess Seju fans wouldn't be happy with that.

Eso.... That last phrase was not necessary. Let people love what they want, no need to always put your two cents in. It makes people feel bad.

The writer tweeted this in English as a reply to someone: "There is a time period during which lezhin can publish cartoons exclusively. After that time, we can continue on another platform."

I guess that's that. We'll just have to wait.

It's such a mess. Thanks for the link.

No problem. :)

Definitely a huge mess... Poor authors.

Someone summarized the ongoing disputes with Lezhin here: http://porifra.tumblr.com/post/168424485685/rough-summary-on-events-leading-to-lezhin-tax

Mistreatment is an understatement, especially regarding the author "Grey."

I will keep my comments though.. they contain some good ideas for future writing (some delusions and the likes XDD)

They are about 70 ~75 pages of hard labor XD, so no

Yes, please keep them Nora!

It is amaze me that drawing skill is just like riding a bicycle lol... You never forget it.... I haven't draw for freaking years since I graduated.

Wow, I like your style. :) Do you ever want to make a fan comic? I think your drawings might pair well with WDTFS.

(or maybe, not actually cold, but not good at dealing with people, a pretty kid but lonely, keep to herself alot)

Yeah, that would make sense.

From what I gathered about Sumin back then, she probably was shy, awkward around Seju at first, while Seju was cold and distance xDDD

I'm not sure if Seju was ever cold or distant towards Sumin... If the cotton candy scene was an indication, then she seemed to have adored Sumin as well.

Thanks. I'll work on it later. I'm gonna sleep first since it's already past 3am here xD

Haha good luck!

I still can't choose what would fit Sumin's personality since around their teenage years, she tends to be shy or anxious around Seju?

I believe Sumin was like this. She felt inferior to Seju, but "loved her with all her heart," according to Team Gaji in the extra episode.

In the cotton candy scene, their relationship was in the "crush" phase it seemed. Sumin was blushing.

this thread blow up because of the fan-war between Seju and Sungji fans. I think most forum of other mangas has more positive feedback so, it doesn't spark any debate among its readers. besides, it's the same people who constantly post and not really because a lot of members in here post on this thread.

The way I see it, this thread blew up because of elements in the story itself. There is not much to discuss in those manhwas mentioned and many in the genre (obviously not all).

I'm just trying to be positive here.

I know people are disappointed and see this story as inferior now... But I have to give it credit for inspiring discussions like these (maybe Nora was a big part of this as well).

Just looking at this forum, it is up to page 497! Other mangas or manhwas in the GL genre don't come close to it (although I don't know every single one, so there may be one that beats it out). Citrus is only on page 141 and it is one of the most popular ones out now, Pulse is on page 24, and Lily Love is on page 77.

12,403 (not including this one and counting) posts right now. The fact that this manhwa has allowed for such in-depth discussions is a feat on its own and I do not regret at all being a part of them. :)

Edit:
Well someone has deleted some posts, so these numbers are not accurate anymore.

Ch44, we know that Seju's father planned for Seju and Sumin to leave the country to the U.S. we also know that he offered Sumin a part of the inheritance, place to stay and a job.. Sumin DIDN'T decline, in fact she almost talked about it to Seju informing her that she should be ready for this ch62. After that, Sumin never really looked for a job or anything.. why ??.. TG established that Sumin respects the chairman so much back in ch5 and again in ch27 and ch 38.. (I am about to lose my mind over this btw ).. If Sumin was to refuse this, she could have done it when she was on her anger peak at Seju.. not just make the whole thing disappear as if it wasn't mentioned before.

Yeah... so... I'm still wondering what happened there.

All the wedding's panels could've been ignored totally (same as to what they've done to the father's will) and instead made a meaningful scene between Sumin and Sungji

They definitely could have, but the "what does the fox say?" tie in at the end there makes me think that the ending was meant to be Sumin and Sungji from the start.

Thus making it more confusing. XD I guess it could just mean poor planning?

I'm excited for the new story actually. :)

I won't read into it as much, but I'm hoping it will be entertaining at least.

Haha, Nora... It's not worth it. XD

What people are thinking and what they say don't necessarily have the same timing.

Yup... The speech bubbles were a dead giveaway.

Honestly I ruin it... lol. Since I put too many spoiler because the thrill is when you don't know which girl the man will end up with.

Haha, well, I'll try to forget right now. XD

Good to see this kind of ending in a k drama or manhwa. The only manga is similar to this is ichigo100.

Interesting story. Nicely done summarizing it that way. I should read it now. XD

Meg, for 1 chapter, quite impossible. I would be more hopeful if it was 3+ chapters, and sumin x sungji did not reconcile in such a shitty way.

One of my favorite books as a kid was "Flipped," which is pretty self-explanatory. The girl liked the boy for years, but he did not like her back and only saw her as a nuisance. Something happened that caused her to dislike him and at around the same time, he began to see her in a new light.

Their roles were "flipped" from the liker to the liked and visa versa.

One chapter does not leave a lot of room for change, but we do know that there will be a side story after. The authors did mention those in a podcast and if what they said was true, this would be irrelevant.

However... No harm in using our imagination. :)

If Seju and Sumin ever "flipped" roles in that sense, what a pleasant surprise that would be. XD Sumin trying to find and make amends to Seju would make a good story...

Or just one about a brand new life in a new country and starting over.

Yo, momonosuke...

Remember your post?

How will Sumin respond? No. Seju is part of my past, my first love, that I can never change. But right now, the person I want to be with is you, Sungji-ssi.

Seju will visit the empty villa and find some remanence of her mother. She will go on a journey to learn more about her mom and explore her freedom and eventually realize that she can live without Sumin.

Overtime, Sumin and Sungji will come to realize that Sumin still cares about Seju and Sungji still cannot compare. They will break up gracefully. Sumin will randomly run into Seju, and they start over again.

^That's my dream ending. :)

What do you think now?

I still think Sumin will go find Seju, as opposed to them randomly running into each other.

Seems to me like you may have been onto something...

But is one chapter enough? That's the question.

roberta

I always thought the ending is a SejuxSumin after chapter 55. It never changed even with chap. 92.

Wow, I was unaware. You are one of the few!

Korean dramas and web dramas, there are a lot of stories about forgetting deep first love with the help of an innocent girl who knows nothing about love xDDDDDD.

So cliche...

So... It looks like everyone has lost all hope. Nora has retired and is at a lost for words.

As there is only one chapter left, I do see the Seju and Sumin end unlikely. One chapter can only be so long and contain so much. One can easily say we have read too deeply into the manhwa. If nothing changes next chapter, I would completely agree that we did.

But... If you read the writer's Twitter, she clarified how Sumin could've received the invitation to the wedding and how it was mentioned previously. From that, we know some details matter...

The pillow mattered, as well as the rings... So why not the chairman's final request in chapter 58? You'd think something like a dying parent's final wish would be important...

Would Team Gaji really leave that hanging or end up brushing it off?

I'm trying to rationalize why Sumin and Sungji's reunion felt so rushed (the writer even noted it). Any Sungji and Sumin supporters actually happy with how they got back together? Or just happy that they did?

Either the ending was changed, Team Gaji aren't as good as we thought, or... that was the point.

The foundation of Sumin and Sungji's relationship has not been shown to be substantial and is largely driven by more superficial factors, as they resorted to sex fairly quickly without talking about the reason why Sungji left Sumin in the first place. What could this mean? Next chapter, the writer could very well show a happy Sungji and Sumin and that their relationship has enough to last. Or...

Remember what Seju said in chapter 91? "Now even if you get together with me, you will miss your other love, rather than the me in the past." She would've been right. With that in mind... Can we really rule out the possibility that Sumin will not think about or miss Seju when she is in a relationship with Sungji? Didn't the manhwa show that that's the one thing Sumin fails do when she is in a relationship with someone else?

Nora, I remember you said previously that Sumin should learn what it is like to not have Seju by her side. Many Team Blonde members wanted Seju out, so Sungji and Sumin can be in a relationship free of her. Well, they got what they wanted.

We now have the chance to see what their relationship is really made of. If they can last forever. I'm curious myself.
