while the "ending" is sufficient, the story could easily continue, hence my rant about resumng the story. actually, Prism reminds me of a story i read when i was a teenager called "Annie On My Mind." i think on a subconcious level, i want/wanted to see if Prism followed a similar path to the book minus all the miserably sad parts. oh well, ya can't blame a girl for askng even if it is an utterly lost cause. :-)

Or was ot because she realised she never liked the guy at all and just used him to fill the void? But what was it that she wanted so badly that generated the void then? A proper family? A baby?

I think it's more likely she was venting the loss of her baby rather than actually being mad at the guy.

For one, I don't think he was undressing at all. Hand near the throat can be an expression of insecurity or nervousness. He's clearly out of his depth in talking to her while she was in that depressed state after the miscarriage, and indeed might have said something dumb or insensitive. Keiko, in bad shape already, lashed out and probably told him to leave.

I think it's fair to assume, based on his earlier discussion with Ran, that she was simply grieving and lashed out.
I was going to blow off the "undressing and suggesting sex" line, but his expression is pretty strange, so it's possible you're on to something. On the other hand, he may have just been inappropriately cheery - seeing him handle it so well may have pushed Keiko over the edge.

Also, the comments on the latest are hilarious, can't wait.
