At this point, everything and everyone in the universe treating Fujiyama unfairly is the new normal, so I am not surprised that she was disqualified. I mean, everyone passes for making it out of the labyrinth without injuries, but the one person who lost her outfit saving another participant from sustaining those very injuries gets disqualified for it... sounds like a Tuesday for Fujiyama. At the same time, my headcanon is that Aroaro has flunked her for being too old, revealing herself as a conservative reactionary despite all of her the high-minded talk about lowering the age limit, so the whole thing is a metaphor for ossified institutions that cling to appearances despite realizing that they need to change with the time.
Maybe I am reading too much into it.
