So I went to read Lezhin's yuri/GL comics, but right off the bat I came across one which had several consecutive rape scenes on latter episodes (Elixir), and this put me through another episode of anxiety and ptsd. The stories had no trigger warning or tags to help me know which to avoid. If anyone's read these stories, could you tell if the ones you read have rape scenes? (that is, any scene with unconsented sex, including those where "consent" is given through blackmail).

Well you asked for stories which contains rape so I assume those have it. It would be much easier if you asked people to tell you which stories don't have rape in them.

Pulse definitely contains blackmail sex. I don’t recall offhand if Serenade had any specifically coerced sex, but there’s plenty of coercion with sexualized overtones.

Judging by the handful of series I’ve read, unless particular authors are strongly inclined otherwise, “somewhat creepy mood” seems to be the way Lezhin tends to lean.

Serenade definitely can be considered having rape in all honesty.

Looking back I'm pretty sure the Love Doctor doesn't have any.

My Joy doesn't have any either...but it has "cheating" and a less than happy ending.

Yikes, I just happened to look at the last couple of chapters of that series today after previously dropping it four or five chapters in quite some time ago. What a nasty piece of work that one is.

Not to spoil the ending or anything, but even the supposedly “good” things that happen aren’t all that good, and certainly don’t happen (as far as I can tell from a quick and partial reading) for good reasons.

I’d sooner take my chances in the Happy Sugar Life universe than live in that world.

Maybe that's why Maison de Maid ended early. No rape scenes.

Hi there, not sure if you are still reading replies lol, but I can safely recommend:

-Love Doctor: There is no rape. The doctor’s ex lover and the doctor are going to have some tension between one another because of what happened in their past, but other than that it’s pretty good. I only recommend this manhwa. I’ve read everything there is and I hate every other one. I know people recommend “What Does the Fox Say?” But I hate that shit. Too much angst between grown women and unrealistic situations.

-I recommend you go to Comico and look there. They have more variety. Lezhin works imo are very limited and dark. I recommend Fluttering Feelings. An excellent manhwa. No rape, no drama, just two girls slowlt falling for one another. There is a small tidbit in the very beginning where a guy tries to strangle one of the main characters, but he quickly gets knocked in the head by another girl lol but there is no violence at all after that. Overall this manhwa has a very sweet and fluffy tone. Very slow and feels like you’re reading in a cafe. Only downside is, that it never ended because the author passed away from cancer :((((( But the reading experience until the last completed chapter is great.

Daily Witch is one of my favs and doesn't have any rape scene if I recall it correct. Right now you have also:

There are some good stories on Lezhin, but be warned as a whole this site contains more adult orientated works so don't expect everything to be fluffy shoujo or shounen love stories. I mean there is stuff on there like Killing Stalking and White Angels Have No Wings so make sure you know what you are getting into before you read some of these.

Her pet isn't just generic violence and bullying, but long running domestic abuse as well. It's not a bad story but be warned it is quite graphic at times and tackles dark subject matter. As others have stated seriously stay away from White Angels Have No Wings if your are bothered by rape, domestic abuse, bullying, blackmail, stalking, graphic violence, psychopathic behavior etc. It's also not a bad story, but that's one rough patch of road to journey down.

If I have to be honest with you—All well known Lezhin GL works have implications of abuse and/or rape. What makes a Lezhin comic is the standard formula: drama, angst, past with a rape or abuse related incident for at least one character, family drama, physical violence, verbal abuse, and pretty much everything else that is nasty about life. They like to draw out the darker and more truthful sides of human life.

For example:
Love Doctor-a very Sweet story, but near the end, The MC’s best friend Suji runs into some trouble with her former friend.

White Angels Have no Wings is absolutely disgusting. I have never read anything like it before. Every character is an incredibly hateful, deceitful, and downright awful person.

Blooming Sequence has some implications of physical violence and domestic abuse. I do not recommend this one either if you don’t like abuse either.

Serenade is awful too. Almost at par with White Angels Have no Wings, but less crazy

What Does the Fox Say is borderline porn with way too much angst. The first chapters and last chapters of the series are definitely not for you.

Actually I have read the whole thing. I was just confused about the "rape" because there was no nudity or depictions of actual penetration? (In my country penetration is the main criteria for rape, rest are considered as sexual harassment not rape.) She was just shown to have choke and bind the other girls and make-out with them. The farthest she went was touching Dahye's and her sisters boobs and giving them those nasty ass hickies. She had consensual sex with Ayeon. (She also showered with her sister but it didn't look like they had sex...?)

Obviously I'm not supporting her or anything I'm just genuinely confused. Please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
