Well.. it's not ideal, not gonna lie. But I'm rooting for the future, that it shall be better. I am glad to see people recognizing that the place in which I live in has some problems. It keeps me sane enough to live here ;P

On a much positive side, the entire transgender thing is organized really neatly here, being better organized than most of European countries. The only problem is that HRT and any surgeries are things I'll have to pay for my entire life.

Just gotta keep hoping that things will get better someday.

Amen. Seriously though, that is one of the best pieces of advice one person can give to another, no matter how the situation is playing at the moment. That's why I like it so much.

I am amused that Trump's campaign eventually had to take his phone away so he wouldn't embarrass himself on Twitter.

That is funny indeed. And if I were part of his campaign team I probably would have demanded the same. But it also makes me wondering... if they know that he is this harmful what would they do with him at, let's say, a negotiation table with other countries in case he actually wins the election...?
Would they gag him and do all the talking for him...? ^^

Tbh with the recent FBI announcement I think Hillary winning is almost a forgone conclusion at this point, I highly doubt America is that far gone to want orange hitler to become president.

I used to think the same way. However, after what happened in Great Britain (Brexit vote) I just can't do that anymore...
People with a really strong opinion – like hardcore Hillary supporters or fanatic Trump fans – will go to vote. But the majority of people doesn't have such a strong urge...
Many people are just like „This is all just too much. I don't wanna hear any more. Please leave me alone.“ or „Who am I supposed to vote? I don't like either of them!“ or „Let's see how this turns out, I'm sure the others will make the right decision.“ or the lazy ones: „Registering to be able to vote is just too much of a hassle and my voice won't make a difference anyway...“
And if too many of those people refuse to go to vote it can make a difference...
Brexit was a good example of that... After the results were out and they showed a small majority for „Leave“ many people said that they never believed that was really possible and if they had known they would have gone to vote as well... and others saying that they just wanted to make a strong statement that they were not happy with how things are and just wanted to vent their own displeasure by voting „Leave“ but they never actually expected that it was possible to really happen...
I think the same thing could happen in the US... I really hope not. But I'm not convinced.

Why do people like that show? I mean i watched it but its really not as mind blowing as people claim it to be.

I admit that the show is not as good as it used to be anymore.
And I also have to acknowledge that I'm not as excited about new episodes as I used to be any longer...
but I'm still curious to see what happens next. That's what makes me tune in every week.
It's not unbearable just yet ;) (Also some episodes of season 6 clearly were for me) ^^

The real problem with TWD is that it's one of those shows with an indefinite run.
And that usually causes some issues after a while.
Personally I've always liked shows like Breaking Bad better where the mastermind says it takes approximately 5 to 6 seasons to tell this story and has it all figured out from the start and producers really stick to that in the end. Shows like that usually give off a more “consistent“ vibe.
With The Walking Dead it's just a constant up and down...
And different directors for every episode don't really make things any better either...

Though the premise of a zombie apocalypse actually has the potential to act as a base story for a long running show... it's just that... unfortunately the human brain doesn't work like that... at one point it just can't come up with new and fresh ideas anymore... ^^”

To be fair, I think the inconsistent nature fits into the theme of an zombie apocaplypse where there is no "order" anymore regardless of what the survivors try to do. And having different directors does help to keep the show from getting repeptitive since every director has their own way of bringing the ep to the audience, some better, others not as nice.

You know it's funny, at one point before Issue 100, they faced the same problem of ppl finding the story repetitive; actually, the reason Rick and his group lost so badly the first round against Negan and The Saviors was because they thought he'd just be like the ppl they had faced before like the Termites or The Governer, which on a meta level almost seems like they're stand-in for the audiences who thought that Negan's arc will be the same as the previous antagonists in the story.

Judging from how the comic goes after next week's ep, I think we'll only see a bit of Rick's weakness before the story start to turn to the all out war between Alexandria|The Hilltop|The Kingdom vs The Saviors. And with Abraham now dead and Dwight potentially thinking of backstabbing Negan, we might actually get to see both Daryl and Dwight working alongside Rick during this arc. Personally I'm also interested in seeing how Michone will likely take Andrea's role in the comics while Carol is likely going to be the love interest of King Ezekiel.

It's really these subtle changes to the story and available characters that keeps everything different even to comic readers who roughly know how this is going to play out. Though I've a feelin we won't reach the conclusion of the War against Negan by the end of S7, considering next week only adapts Issue 103 of the comics - it's very likely that S7 will end at the point where Rick gotten The Hilltop and The Kingdom to work together.
