Sadly Japan has insane standards, that's why around 40kg number shows up so often as targeted weight and over that is consider being fat. It's really frustrating to read those mangos that go into a lot of depth about diets, calories etc. when character is barely overweight and often in completely healthy range, but everyone acts as if she looked like stereotypically obese American. Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru? is good example from top of my head.

Yea. Not only old site was perfectly fine, it was actually unique and had a lot of charm. I absolutely hate the new one and hope it only looks like that because it's barely finished.

No. I actually played the game and know how the story is supposed to go. Yes, episode would be good if not for the fact it's stuff we mostly saw in OG series, that doesn't really bring much to the story anime is telling about and that takes entire 1 episode from 13 episode run of series that already was rushed as hell in season 1 and they clearly have not enough time to tell rest of the story.

Decided? I was defending season 1 for 12 weeks as it was airing, when most people were complaining about it. I played the devil's advocate, saying it's actually good. But when final episode aired, I was forced to admit, that adaptation is trash and it neither lived up to source material, nor managed to create something different that stands on its own. I made a entire wall of text explaining all my reasons for it, which clearly nobody read. I was so pissed at how they butcher my favorite arc of entire game and the reason I fallen in love with the story in the first place, I decided to not even watch season 2, so the fact I even given it a chance already show that I still have some soft spot for this story.

I wasn't really going to roll on it. Nian was literally first banner I rolled on when I started, spend everything and game spooked me twice and gave Aak from rate up instead, so I was really salty and since now I learned how to play better and don't rely on defenders anymore, I don't even really need Nian, so I was telling myself that I don't care about her anymore. Mr. Nothing seemed like really bad operator and I didn't really care that much about Saga/Dusk.

But I was feeling down and I really wanted something nice happening to me and some rush of serotonin, so I started rolling. And I did skipped Nian's rerun banner since I figured, she'll be in this banner as well and is more likely to show up if you get spook, and since rate up hates me, I'll probably get spooked with her easily. So rolling this banner to potentially get both limited operators in 1 go seemed like much better idea. Got Saga in first 30 rolls. Of course the 6 star I care the least about. Then in my 110 roll I got 2 6 stars. If I got both sisters there, it'd be perfect and ideal place to end. Got Hokusai as first and then second was... CEOBE SPOOK. Like I use her a lot and -1DP will come in handy, but c'mon game >.> I really just want freaking Nian and you're cucking me second time...

Ironically, if I could add my rolls from her first banner I'd have 300 rolls already and could just buy her. Well rolled everything I had, am at around 200 rolls and got another copy of dusk. I'll roll daily rolls now and if I won't get spooked by end of event I'll just roll till 300 and buy her. Doesn't help that I also bought guarantee 6 star roll. Value wise it was probably the best to pick Weedy/Thorns/Magellan one, but I'd probably not use them in long time, so I went for Schwarz/Phantom/Suzuran one. I really hoped I'll just get Schwarz, maybe 2 6 stars, but ended up with Phantom, which is nice, if I actually finally invested in him...

Either way, got Nightmare, Astesia, Leizi, 2 Greythroat, Ayascarpe, Cliffheart, Warfarin, Sora, 8-9 Mr. Nothing and first copy of Aosta and Leonhardt. Also maxed out Pinecone. I was salty at first, but after using them I have to say, I really like Dusk animations, I like her skills, especially since I liked Gitano's skill and she is voiced by Hokusai Nogami Yukana. Mr. Nothing grown on me, I kinda like his flamboyant personality as well as his design and he isn't actually that bad, so I don't mind I max pot him. And Saga is good doggo and spamming her S2 is fun.

I skipped story for now (and will probably read it never) to clear stages and set up my trust rock farm so I can forget about event until next week challenge stages open. I like new gimmick and enemies.

Also I like that they finally added option to pick avatar, but sadly selection is very limited. Wish it was mentioned somewhere though (unless it was and I missed it). Only noticed, because I saw some people had them, so I checked my profile.

Lol. Now Magia Record adapts prologue of the game. In first episode of second season. Well it was technically changed, but it showed the most important part from prologue, that you were supposed to know watching entire season 1, so... gj? Also episode was mostly filler if you watched OG series, so I started skipping half-way through. I gave second season chance half, because it was so long since season 1, so I kinda got over my shock how bad this adaptation is and half from morbid curiosity to see how badly they'll fuck up rest of the story and what kind of changes they'll do in general. Hell, maybe it'll actually not be that bad! First episode didn't give great impression and almost made me feel like not bothering after all, but then I did really miss that story, so maybe I'll try and stuck with it...

Why should she care? Usually in time travel stories MC either travels intentional, so their intention is to mess with timeline as little as possible and/or they only want to change 1 specific thing and nothing else or MC went back by accident, but have clear means to go back, so the same thing apply (Back to the future, for example). Here MC went back by accident and has 0 clue have to go back, so as far as she is concerned, she'll spend rest of her life here. To be fair, past MC is different person. They're separate by 10 years of experience. Sure, at some point you don't change much, but especially between your teen self and adult self, there is bound to be a lot of growth and change, especially since it's specifically said that MC tried to change herself and her image. Also just for comparison, future MC is way more outgoing and open about her sexuality than past MC, which already makes them quite different. So yes, I totally can buy that for MC, her past self looks and feels like completely different person she has no issue disregarding. Again, since as far as she knows, she's never getting back and never becomes that past MC again, so w/e she does now, won't affect herself.

This MC is just so one dimensional, all she think's about just senpai.

Which brings another question. If she was so good at reading people, why didn't she read that past MC was in love with Senpai and help her? In fact why didn't she read that past MC loves Senpai as well now and sense a love triangle? This is another thing just like supposedly Senpai having interest in past MC is making it harder for me to read, because I'm constantly thinking and questioning why the hell you didn't get together then?

Yea. I wouldn't mind it as much, if it was a character flaw for MC to overcome, but at this point it doesn't really feel like it'll go anywhere or at least it doesn't seem like MC is actually learning anything.

Anyway, I can stomach some reluctance for a bit, but the point of that kind of trope for me is the breaking of it. Do boundaries get set and enforced, turning it into a commentary on consent and enthusiastic participation? Or does the reluctant or tsundere character start to melt into it and welcome it? IMO that aspect of their dynamic was hot for the first two, maybe three chapters, because it had some, "hot older woman has her eyes set on my body, oh no~!" vibes, and it was like, breaking the barrier that the MC had experienced when she was younger by being forward so that Seto-senpai also got to expereince the horni. But beyond that, it's definitely overstaying its welcome. Maybe if it didn't seem so disconnected to their emotions, or if Senpai's reaction was more of a "no, I shouldn't. I totally agree with that. It feels like series can't commit either way and doesn't know what it wants to be.

That's exactly what I wanted to write! I feel like if this series was just straight porn, it would work much better, because despite trying to have plot, it doesn't really feel like it's progressing it and instead is being held down by unnecessary ecchi scenes that would be fine in just porn. Also at first having Senpai being so open about her sexuality and aggressive was fresh, because we rarely have those kind of character that know their sexuality, what they want and are not afraid to act on it, but after first few chapters it exactly got tedious and MC's obsession and possessiveness with Senpai, to the point where she gets insecure and jealous of her own past self (that she knows fully well, never went anywhere with Senpai and therefore isn't a treat) is really starting to get in the way of the story.

With CC ending, I decided to check my support usage. Suzuran is to be expected. Eunectes somewhat surprising. But Iris?! Wow, congrats to those two people. I had checked last time too and I was surprised at how much Eunectes gets used in CC.

Wow, awesome! My support was barely used this time, but half of it might be cos I changed it twice during event. I did change it mostly cos it wasn't being used though.

I really tried, but couldn't max risk yesterday. I was able to reach W and even kill her, but 9 times out of 10, she'd take half my team with her, because my setup was quite rng heavy and in rare situations when I did pull it off, I wasn't able to deal with mobs spawning at the end. Have to say killing W with W was pretty fun though. W betraying even herself!

On the other hand last daily was pretty easy. Didn't take too long to figure out setup for ballistas.

Now I'm actually hyped for new event!

I can't agree with this more. It feels like nowadays you're only allowed to have "safe" and "proven" opinions and if you dare to say something most people disagree with, you're immediately labeled "controversial" and everyone starts ganging on you. It feels like actually discussing things and just expressing your personal feelings is no longer a thing. The need to be part of the "right" side never felt stronger than now.

Also initial premise seemed interesting. I actually give 0 fucks about past MC and read it for future MC romance with Seto. I agree she's way too aggressive and too non-con at times. Her realizing she wants to help Seto become actress was a nice, but chapter 6 even for me felt like too much. So I'm really happy with the direction series took in chapter 7. I'm willing to excuse some of stuff she does, especially since she is self-aware of it, but she really need to start showing more self-restrain.

I told you we'll get it for sure. It is different from KFC and Purestream one, cos those were tied to real life events. I'd say Purestream was the least likely to happen, but they actually organized it again (I think?). Actually now that I think about it KFC might be the least likely to happen, cos they'd need to organize it in all countries at the same time for everyone playing on global to have it.

As for collab itself, I know about 120 rolls and since we'll get first 20 from event, we really only need 100 (which is most likely why it's 120), but i'm not sure if I'll roll more than the free rolls, because I'm not sure if I even care about those R6S operators.

Yea, but it's only 3 sec and have insane redeploy time. I'm using Suzuran S3 multiple times and it was still tight.

Yes, cos I'm doing it. Not with max risks though. And actually I did think that Surtr would be better for my strat than Specter, since she deals arts dmg, can block as well and unlike Specter, I can drop her on top of enemy without worrying of her dying before I can use skill. The issue was that I had to pick support Suzuran. I actually finally E2 my own, so I'm think of trying it, but I didn't master her skill, so idk if drop in dps won't end up just balancing out.

Anyway, part nobody cares about. Max risk Locked-Down Prison and max risk Transport Hub. At first I thought risks were much easier than last week for Prison, but then pulling it off turned out to be really hard. In my first clear my strategy fallen apart at the end and I leaked last caster, so I wasn't really satisfied with my clear. I worked on it until I had a more reliable one without any leaks and weren't relying on just hopping I'll somehow kill everyone at the end. Hub on the other hand was a annoying map with annoying risks, but it wasn't that hard, but took me some time before I figured out perfect timing for everything.

Should we change Yuri to Super Friends then? It should remove all the confusion.

Yea. While I don't mind map itself, most of my operators rely heavily on attack speed, so -30 attack speed risk was too much for me. Also -30% damage from it and -15% dmg from wind thingies wasn't great either, so I just settled for risk 8 and was done with it. On the other hand I was determinate to beat Deserted Factory with max risk. Had to adjust my setup from Blade, since increased movement speed was screwing it. Myrtle was last man standing, but she did it! (I just retreated everyone for lolz, they didn't all actually died at the end) Pyrite Gorge today was really hard. Ban on defenders, supports and snipers was already a lot, but still manageable, but on vanguards was a real overkill and huge pain. In moment like this I really wish I already invested in more operators, especially Phantom and Waai Fu. Still managed to beat it after many attempts. Didn't even use Utage, Warfarin and Sideroca. I pretty much just picked everyone I invested in decent amount.

By spamming 1 hour recruitments, I got Castle 3 and THRM EX max pot in a day...also got 2 top OP tags, one with a wasted senior tag. Too bad I can't get anything new from recruitment, picked AoE for Ifrit pot.

Well since you mentioned it I figured I can do that too and go quite high (I actually only managed risk 21), I just tried to figure out strat where I kill them, because 1. I don't like letting enemies slip (also it kinda feels lame) and 2. I was hoping to go for higher risks and then I'll need to kill them. So I tried to let them go, but had issues and ended up actually letting Bob and second golem go instead. I tried different risks variants, but 21 is as far as I could go. I probably could go a bit higher with new risks, but not too much, cos there isn't a lot of them and most of them will fuck up my strategy. The setup I used.

Honestly I can kill golems, the issue is Bob and Mudrock. In order to kill them at the same time, I can't let golems destroy last rubble, so I need to kill them near their spawn point, since that's only place where I can use Ifrit to cut their resistance, but I don't have enough time to redeploy Specter and Ifrit to then deal with Bob and Mudrock at the same time. And if do it like on screenshot, the cooldowns won't recharge before Bob comes. Honestly if the title under Eyja wasn't banned, it'd be much easier and my strat would probably work. Unless I have a breakthrough and figure different setup, that's the highest I can go with my current operators on first week. Now I'll try seeing what risks I can add from second week, but I'm not really expecting much.

To me Yuri isn't a genre, but a universal idea.
