They’ve been quietly floating in the background of this manga like a pair of icebergs.
I wonder if they were ment to be Chekhov’s Guns, that never got the chance to go off. Maybe part of Frost’s gender reveal arc, however that was going to go.

They had a whole offscreen arc, but at least they got married (again)
