If it weren't for the final 2 pages, I would have suspected that Saki was never real in the first place, being the self-destructive part of Mai instead who tries to drag her into suicide.

The last two pages seem like they were added just to end on a positive note. Just before Mai sounded like she was addressing someone who died, and then it turns out Saki's been in the hospital for three months? Talk about a cop out...

It definitely is, but at the same time, I've read too many stories where the other girl dies. The less of that,the better for me
