Are these chapter titles accurate? Or are the translation team taking liberties? Chapter 14's title is a blatant reference to "When Marnie Was There". Most folks know that story because of the Studio Ghibli Movie, but it was based on a Novel released in 1967 that got Television and Radio Adaptations in 1971 and 2006, respectively. So, I could be wrong. But I've seen "translation" teams do as they please over the past several years, especially those hired by Crunchyroll.

The chapter titles are in fact 100% accurate to the original Japanese chapter titles

Glad to hear that. And thank you. They just sounded like the dreck found in subtitles that Crunchyroll gives a pass to.

The tennis balls gag made the whole exchange so ridiculous. I love how silly this manga can be.

I've been lurking but I created an account to say thanks for uploading these chapters! It's heartwarming to see the friendships that Hayate has with the cast.

Gaysnyland? I'm a little curious what the original word was, perhaps a pun that didn't translate into English?

This is slightly pedantic, but no, the TL has made some little adjustments. It's usually just to make the Japanese pun (usually with "baka") into an English one. For instance, "Gravitwit" was originally just "Baka Gravity" -- I bet that sounds like something in Japanese that a native speaker would catch, but "Idiot Gravity" does nothing like that for us.

Other times the TL has chosen to match the English title of a work. "Baka Man Star Force", a currently-timely Mega Man Star Force reference, is the one that got me curious -- I just had to know if it was originally "Ryuusei no Bakaman" to match the JP title. (It was.) "Frozedense" is the title that loses the most. Japan likes to give Disney films more descriptive titles; their version of Frozen is "Ana to Yuki no Joou" (Anna and the Snow Queen). So the JP chapter was "Ana to Baka no Joou" -- except there's a SECOND change. Anna's name has gone from アナ (katakana, standard for foreign names) to 穴 (kanji, making it the word "hole" -- like in Nozoki Ana or Ana Satsujin). Presumably that ties in with the second-page line about a "gaping hole in the stage we've set". Good luck trying to do anything comparable with the single word "Frozen"!

Ah, bugger...should've known. Thanks for the heads up.

Is this not yuri anymore?

If anything, the sequel is more yuri. The main focus always had been the absurdity.
