Cute ending, but feels like it chickened out of its premise.

i feel the same way. the oneshot and subsequent first chapter seemed to be setting up a totally different vibe. like the mangaka wanted to create toxic yuri but didn't have it in them so we just got like, teasing/comfort for 8 chapters.

Guess this turned out to be kind of true lol. I wonder what the dark version the author came up with first ended like

No it really is "the chocolate destroys". Destroys is in Engrish. How and what does chocolate destroy? Your guess is as good as mine but I feel like the nonsensical aspect is the joke.

This is one of those series i wish was a lot longer than it actually is. The extras just reinforced that.

More of these two let’s go! Seemed abrupt but looking back it was a fulfilling piece in its own right. Will definitely follow this author.

this was pretty cute!

When she got all dark and wanting to see her fall and that was gonna bring her joy I kinda expected this to get super dark. Ended up being quite cute. Wish we could have maybe gotten a timeskip type chapter to see how they were in the future to see if she was failing as much as her dad did but loved this for a nice small series.
