I do think the oneshot implies Hitori likes Kita, but doesn't feel comfortable with her because Kita keeps pushing her own ideals after all, and that's why she ends up gravitating toward Sasaki instead. But I didn't get the impression that they don't actually like each other during the sex scene. It's maybe not an all-encompassing infatuation but they clearly care imo.

That's a fair way to interpret it as well, though I think our experiences differ since for me there was that uncomfortable loneliness with a feeling of Bocchi settling for a relationship she wasn't fully wanting. I wouldn't mind being wrong though, as I'm all for a happier outcome.

Love bokita but this was also lovely, really enjoyed their dynamic and how supportive sasaki is to bocchi!

I can understand Bocchi having a hard time being with Kita since they are very different personalities, but I do like the idea of Sasaki being a comforting presence by understanding Bocchi. I'd like to think that Sasaki is attracted to Bocchi and takes what she can get, even if it's only a physical relationship.

Actually this kind of reminds me of a fanfiction series I've been following about Bocchi getting together with Sasaki. Would recommend!

I think the aaangst is supossed to come from kita, i don´t get the feeling that bocchi is in love with kita nor that she´s forcing herlself to be with sasaki. The little time she spends with kita she seems really on edge while she seems comfortable and happy with sasaki who clearly understands her. Bocchi is worried that sasaki will judge her for "swinging that way" she doesn´t directly says that she´s in love with kita, we also see her blushing a lot and looking at sasaki boobs

We also see kita a bit dejected after hearing that boochi is using clothes that saski choose instead of the ones she choose
