The anime was a little quick in some areas, but I think it makes sense when you consider the stopping point they wanted to get to. Especially since I doubt it will get a second season. I thought it was a wonderful adaption personally, even with some of the changes that were made. I also felt like the talking instead of fighting was fine here, since a lot of the fighting was just meant to express frustrations between the characters, that could then be talked out as well. It was never really about winning the fight, or killing the other person, it was about the drama between them and fighting to express their feelings and then talking through the rest. So for me at least I had no issues with that aspect of the series, especially as a lot of the fights were between characters that were closely connected somehow, but that's my own subjective opinion I suppose.
I've seen so many people loving the anime adaption, both new comers and the LN community alike, so I'd say give it a chance. Also nice that we get another a lesbian kiss with it, since it's the first one in an anime since 2018, at least on the lips. Last one to the best of my knowledge was surprisingly Bloom Into You. Though I am aware of and excited for the various Yuri anime that are upcoming, I just hope this doesn't mean we won't see any for like 5-10 years after we've gone through the currently announced titles. I can also say this was one of my favorite Isekai anime out there, and definitely the best Yuri Isekai anime we've gotten so far. I might even enjoy it more than the upcoming adaption of "I'm Love With The Villainess", we'll see though haha
