Y'all aren't using 100% of your brain power here. What Bandai needs to do is make an OVA where Suletta is trying to get to her wedding but first has to stop a terrorist attack (Let's say an Anti-Earthian group is trying to drop a space station on an Earth city) and she has to stop them in a new Gundam. Because this is a happy OVA she doesn't need to use a permet score and can just disable all the mobile suits by shooting/slicing their limbs off because she's such a good pilot, then she can stop the threat with the new Gundam's gimmick that's a giant magnet or something. Then she can land her Gundam in front of the church/building and hop out already in her wedding dress.

Boom. Bandai can show off a new product or two in the first half. We get our wedding in the second half.

I can't believe of all the pairings for the show to imply was canon they went with the most boring one.

At this point "I knew all along" is becoming more cliche than "You lied to me". Like all tropes the execution is more important than the actual use, but it's not exactly subversive anymore.

Okay so I must admit that I'm quite skeptical of a lot of official wedding art because it seems like it's likely just "Look at your waifus in these cute wedding dresses" fanservice, but there is legitimately no heterosexual explanation for this.

Bumbleby AND Sunlight content? Have I traveled back to 2015?

A lot of people don't like how long they teased this and dragged it out but personally I actually really liked getting a big romantic payoff after a buildup that lasted the better part of a decade. I started shipping this in Volume 2 back when gay representation was non-existent and I didn't know whether or not it was actually going to happen, and I spent probably too much time arguing with people about whether or not it was. This event made me feel 15 years old again and I'll probably never experience that unique flavour of shipping validation again.

It's not something I'd like to see in absolutely everything but I'm honestly now wanting to see more examples of decade-long slowburn.

I hate it when two girls consumate their relationship but it didn't happen because it was in a dream, which in term didn't happen because it was in a fanfiction, which in turn is based on something that's already fictional.

So I've never played League, but after getting hooked on Arcane I discovered a Youtuber named TBskyen who among other things reviews League character designs as well as their skins.

My understanding from his videos is that the skins will often completely re-imagine the character with a different theme, with the higher priced ones even coming with completely new animations. For example the Star Guardian skin line turns characters such as Lux and Jinx into magical girls.

In this case: Vi and Caitlyn look different because this is from a skin line that re-imagines them as high schoolers.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if they never kiss. Not because of homophobia or anything, but because main Gundam couples hardly ever kiss on-screen.

I saw someone on twitter point out Rika as an example of forced diversity corrupting Pokemon, and having not played the game I wondered if she was trans or something, only to find no such information when I looked her up. I think anti-SJWs just don't even have the tolerance for women in suits.

I also later realised it was the same guy who said the Gundam fanbase should keep out people getting into the franchise because of the yuri in Witch From Mercury.

The overlap I've seen between people who think Mioletta isn't actually going to happen and people who want the series to become more serious makes me want to see the show go full G-Gundam and have Suletta and Miorine defeat the final boss with Aerial harnessing the power of their love.

It really has been super cool seeing my post pop up in a bunch of places. Most amusingly someone posted the image on twitter, and that got more attention than the ones I posted to twitter, tumblr, and reddit combined. However despite that, my original twitter post got liked by Ticcy and retweeted by Kaban, two artists whose works can often be found here, which might just be the coolest part of this whole experience.

I'm the one who made the post above and I was not expecting to find it in a Dynasty Reader comment section. Happy to see it's given hope to my fellow shippers.

My take is that RWBY was never good in the traditional sense, but was a lot of fun as an amateur project. The first season was so low budget the background characters were just black silhouettes, but there was a lot of passion behind the creative fight choreography. Then the creator unfortunately passed away as the series started taking itself more seriously, so it lost both the charm in the fight scenes and in its amateur but passionate vibe.

I haven't properly watched the show since volume 4 but I've been following Blake and Yang's relationship because I've been irrationally obsessed with them since 2014. They're just the quintessential light/dark couple to me.

Personally I found RWBY was at its best when it was a charming web series with really good fight choreography that used really creative weapons. It felt like you were watching someone play an action game really skillfully. From volume 4 onward the series lost that distinct fight choreography (No doubt thanks to the tragic passing of its creator) and started taking itself a lot more seriously, putting its mediocre at best writing at the forefront.

Because of this I don't think the SHAFT series looks very promising, as it looks like its going to be a very standard anime when the unique visuals of the original story was its main strength.

I feel like people are over dramatizing the situation a tad bit. Don't get me wrong it is crappy of Disney to have cut it short (Especially given their reasons, such as the fact that the audience was too old?!), but people are acting like the show is already gone when we still have several hours worth of content to see, and we have no idea how well they'll pull off the rest of the show. For all we know this might improve the storytelling since a common writing tip is to cut out a portion of your initial draft to force yourself to write more efficiently. That might even already be in effect since season 2 has been a big improvement on season 1 in large part because there's a lot less filler, and it was probably written with the knowledge that they were being cut short (The news may only be a few months old but the crew were probably informed behind the scenes long before that).

Again, the company's actions are still worth complaining about, but I think we should still remain hopeful that the show will turn out to be a great complete package. At the rate the story's been going so far I can imagine a good conclusion being pulled off at the end of season 3 even if it is shorter.

What kind of a mind could even conceive of this scenario?

From a distance this looked a bit like Adora and Catra.

People are talking about the love interest also being an assassin, but the impression I got was that she was just a member of the family who didn't want any part in the whole crime thing, judging by one of the goons saying "You're just a figurehead!" and her mentioning that she took her mother's maiden name.
