@Zexalfan Early Love Live was still trying to find it's place and and somehow no one on the marketing or management teams had any idea how big the yuri community would be to the show in that time. It was either unintentional or purposely subtle but there's definitely slightly more yuri in season 2.

Honestly I prefer μ's subtle shipping over the bait in Sunshine onwards. Made the characters and ships feel so much more organic
