as someone that plays this deck and knows these cards, the credits page forgot that the Virus cards being shown are two different ones, with the bat looking one being Full Force Virus, another stupidly strong trap card that while not as wide ranging as Eradicator Virus, can still destroy your opponent completely when against certain decks.
Also the credits page claims that the "castle curse" thing is the author's original idea when the Valuable Book EX3 lore does mentions rumors there's a curse on the castle that can only be broken if the treasure at its center is retrieved. Its a pretty vague plot point but it is there.
For context: the lastest game has revealed that Yuuma and Ran were old friends from back when Ran used to live in the Animal Realm before she became Yukari's shikigami. The pairing of the two seems to have gotten pretty popular quickly.
I'll just copy over some lines the actual dialogue so those unfamiliar can see how down bad Hisami is for Zanmu.
pant... Mad... I want her to get angry at me! Zanmu-sama!
Hisami: Haa... haa...
Zanmu: ...what's the matter? You can leave now.
Hisami: Um, won't you scold me?
Forgive me, Zanmu-sama. But from now on, I'll be following Suika-sama's advice
and get you to scold me.
Miss Suika......How can I get Lady Zanmu to look at me?
Are you not feeling well? Please trample over me, as before.
Also, since this is canonically one-sided on Hisami's part, and Zanmu is basically also Reimu's #1 Fangirl, also get ready for a whole bunch of art of Reimu/Zanmu with Hisami being NTR'd.
Really this game is probably gonna be huge for shipping. In addition to Hisami/Zanmu and Reimu/Zanmu as previously mentioned, we're probably also going to get Chiyari/Yuuma, Saki/Enoko, Yachie/Biten and even Ran/Yuuma (which would've been the most insane crack pairing before this game came out but I feel will probably actually become pretty popular).
Posting here because I'm sure most people here don't know this, but there are actually official books published that detail the storylines of the Yugioh cards. Here's a link to the translation of the Labrynth storyline:
It'll probably have a continuation considering the cliffhanger ending and the fact they're presumably adding more cards to the archetype (such as the recently revealed Arias the Labrynth Butler, who is one of the two silhouettes seen at the end).
I kinda wonder why this pairing didn't take off more strongly. I remember back when they were introduced practically everyone was going "hey Kale kinda seems like she's lesbian for Caulifla". I guess the Dragon Ball fandom is just full of those weirdos who keep shipping Goku with Caulifla and Vados for some reason?
Anyway, I want to see them again too. When is the Universe 6 arc? I wanna see Kale meet Broly.
This artist is creating a SFW doujin where Clownpiece and Junko are running a kindergarten, and this art takes place in that setting. Dunno how far the doujin itself is going to go, but from the previews shown its very heavily implied Clownpiece is in love with Junko.
I never liked this meme because if you wanted to figure out what you taste like, you can just lick your own skin. I mean, I figured out what I tasted like as a kid when my pet rat kept licking me and I wanted to see what the fuss was all about.
^I haven't watched the movie myself, but from what I can gather Coco is actually a villainess who Mystery Inc. have to team up with. She makes monster costumes for other Scooby-Doo villains, and I think its supposed to be like one of those Hannibal Lector "imprisoned criminal has to help the investigators" deals. Not that it stops Velma from simping.
Its kind of weird to think about how Velma being a lesbian was essentially memed into cannon. It wasn't like there was subtext in the original Scooby-Doo cartoon or anything, people were just like "lol Velma looks like a lez" as a joke as far as
I was aware.
Its like if they canonically made He-Man homosexual because of all the jokes people made about that cartoon.
^Shiver's confirmed a girl; in addition to in-game dialogue, someone actually bothered to write to Nintendo themselves to ask about Shiver's identity.
Apparently (and this is just based on a poor machine translation I did of a japanese tweet, so I may have misinterpreted something) Shiver is deliberately made to be androgynous because her character is based off Kabuki theatre, where actors were traditionally expected to play roles of the opposite gender (most well known were men playing the roles of women after female actors were banned, but Kabuki was originally an all-female thing).
