Ohmygod I got whiplash from this because I LOVED this manga so much as a teen bc I didn't see a lot of yuri manga with dark skinned characters during the time it came out. Got I miss them so dearly.

^the creators certainly don't tend to worry too much about it, since insofar I've seen they never go into any real detail about those and clearly just go with the standard set of tropes without bothering to invest the slightest thought.

I stopped paying attention to RWBY after Monty Oum passed away. Is it worth watching these days? Not in terms of yuri, just in general. The creativity of the action scenes were the main draw for me, fwiw.
