The sex was pretty sudden, but that's pretty much the point of erotica, right? Though she came in and was about to ravish her anyway, it's almost like the talking was interrupting the impending sex.

I did like this, though, for the more mature characters. My issue was with the later scissoring. Who even can get that to work? No one! Absolutely no one, especially not me!

The plausibility of scissoring aside...the "it's dirty" and "it's like pee :O" comments make it seem like it's their first time and thus makes the scene seem more out of place. :|

Same as most here. The sex scene was out of place, and the dialogue in it all the more. But still a cute and nice story overall.

As for the scissoring, for me it's always a proof that the author is male. I loved in Hankuju Joshi how it was shown that it doesn' work.

I took that more as acting coy and talking dirty respectively. I mean, Chika was jumping her in the first place, I doubt she suddenly realized she might need a shower when she's no longer top.

Haha. Well, I do think the reaction has been a bit harsh. The sex and the romantic parts of this oneshot were both pretty enjoyable--perhaps moreso taken separately, however. The transition was admittedly a little jarring.

This forum does seem a bit more reticent in general towards discussing porn versus other sfw releases...it always makes me feel a little awkward when I see 0 discussion posts at the end of a nsfw doujin upload, which is often. Still though, I wouldn't necessarily agree with lashing out against moe yuri...both lewd and moe are awesome and vital parts of yuri, as far as I'm concerned.

The main point though, is of course that we do appreciate Yuri Project for bringing this story to us. While Ume Maru's isn't my favourite artstyle, I did really enjoy the other oneshot of hers which has been put up here, http://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/secret_shakespeare. I also really liked Kuroda's dominant but sweet personality in this oneshot. If there will be more stuff coming from this author (dunno what Aya Yuri is...some sort of new Yuri Hime Wildrose?), I will certainly be looking forward to it.

I'm not, at least not against moe in general. And in hindsight I think what I wrote may come across as pissed when I really meant the "funny" part. I think it's amusing to see people gush about characters doing absolutely braindead things in absolutely cliched stories or without any plot whatsoever and are then offended by generic porn dialog.

I have another oneshot of Ume Maru on my todo list, this time without scissoring and less dirty talk. But with a generic school girl plot, yay! No idea when I'll get to it, I'm pretty apathetic about porn and mostly did this one as a favor and because I like Ume's artstyle from back when I worked on Shakespeare. The last page helped a good deal.

There's a key difference between the two anthologies - Aya Yuri is 18+ rated, Yuri Hime Wildrose was not. I think Aya Yuri's main crowd would be those who consume pornographical manga in some way, and as such, it'll feel more... porny than YH Wildrose. (Way more explicit art, and porn talk and all that.)

...And I'm kinda happy we get porn with this kind of stories, as it sure beats porn without romantic stories.
