The reason was that the game was delayed. But yes, thats what happened,they had little to no information, just the basic designs and personalities of the five angels to work with so they said 'fuck it, lets make it a gag series!' with one thing in common being the space setting.

Do you just mean watching s3? If so then nothing stops you watching just s1 and s2 - i really really liked them- and tho they all loosely follow on as in the same characters, they are not following on in the story sense- they are all stand alone.

So s3 hasnt been well recieved? I hadnt heard- didnt even know it was airing yet lol.. Any fans of s1 and 2 tell me whats up with 3? I wont bother starting it if its naff.

^ nothing, I think he is confusing season 3 of Index (which was bad even by Index standard) with Season 3 of Railgun. The only controversies regarding Railgun S3 is that they keep delaying episodes, and that's because of the whole coronavirus.
