^I get what you mean but they really go hard on the subtext for them. Episode 8 of season 2 is the best episode of the series shinka's reaction to the situation just made me love this ship more. And deko is gay at the start of the anime she was in love with rika and took a liking to shinka but liked their relationship as it was with them fighting. And as observed by another character she actually wants shinka to be the woman she devoted to.

Also forgot about the scene about the more they fight the more they love each other. It wasn't about them but their reaction say it all.
