It's true they kissed and ended up in bed together, but honestly it's not yuri. Dekkomori doesn't even exist in the source material and they kinda just tease the audience over and over.

The fact Deko doesn't exist in the LN makes it better because she was created with the sole purpose to be Shinka's partner.

When KyoAni teases Yuri I have an automatic reaction of doubt. Dragon Maid being the one exception, because... well it was gay from inception.

^I get what you mean but they really go hard on the subtext for them. Episode 8 of season 2 is the best episode of the series shinka's reaction to the situation just made me love this ship more. And deko is gay at the start of the anime she was in love with rika and took a liking to shinka but liked their relationship as it was with them fighting. And as observed by another character she actually wants shinka to be the woman she devoted to.

@BugDevil My point was more that KyoAni often takes such large creative liberties with their adaptations that you should (in my opinion) just consider the adaptations and their respective source materials two completely different stories. So making an argument about one while using evidence from another doesn't really hold water if you think along those lines.

It doesn't matter if you're right, if your points are clear and logical, or even if you're handling this in a civilized matter. When a discussion seems to get out of hand, especially for something as trivial as an image, you'll get the mods' attention, and that's a bad sign.
So, the moment you start writing the hundredth word in a single comment, or the third reply to the same discussion, stop for a second. Just stop. And think: "this already got me banned once, I don't want that to happen again". And then delete the unposted comment, and drop the argument altogether. If "just letting it go" isn't your style, then write a shorter, conclusion-type comment, and add something along the lines of "And this is the last I write about this specific subject, on this specific thread, until it becomes relevant again, maybe. Sorry we couldn't reach an agreement, thank you and goodbye."
Believe me, I really like how passionate you are about finding and divulging the truth, so it'd be really sad if that ever got you perma-banned from this site.
@TheLostLight To be fair DekoShinka were ahead of the hetero couple of the show before the movie happened, and most of kyoani hetero couples from other shows are below what DekoShinka showed for each other, if they're more developed that pairings involving boys and girls, then they aren't subtext or that other word I won't type.

These two always felt like an Akuma No Riddle pairing to me. You are shown them as gals being pals (with lots of hinting), a "platonic" kiss, and one/or both being confirmed "not-straight," then ending with them comfortable in their current dynamic; to the point they don't confirm or take anything about their relationship seriously when the show ends, even though they are essentially married. Yet, we all know they are getting all lewd - with hanky panky fuzzy bumpy, hand-holding, cuddles and shet - after the credits roll!
