It's a damn shame some people are so close minded with some of that stuff. I've seen so many people accuse fans of Loli or Shota to be pedophiles. Now, I'm not saying there isn't any overlap, but liking those doesn't mean you want to fuck a kid. The people saying it creates pedophiles are annoying as hell too. Their thought process isn't much different from those blaming shootings on video games.

From what I've read about this the closing down was not entirely about the porn itself, but more to do with copyrighted material being hosted (without permission). Thus moving it out of the Netherlands won't help since it seems to effect any EU member state. I have no idea where Dynasty's servers are located so I don't know if this might happen later to this site as well (I hope it won't though).

I think (at least with individual images) that Dynasty asks the artist if it's okay to post their art here before uploading it to the site so Dynasty (probably) won't be in the same situation as Sadpanda was. Although since I'm not an uploader or know much details about how stuff works behind the scenes so I could be entirely mistaken. On an unrelated note thankfully both 4chan and (Reddit I think) are both hosted in the US so they (hopefully) won't be affected by the EU decision.

I'm not really sure about that considering E-Hentai is still up just fine for the moment. E-Hentai and ExHentai are effectively the same site, both using the same database, just with E-Hentai hiding loli and such.

No, it was because allegations from the host that the content (read loli an shota) was illegal. Right now it seems that is not, but either way the host terminated their services.

I mean, one site goes down but a lot of this manga datebase get reupload elsewhere so it's not really a problem

Not really. Dynasty host copyrighted material, which according to new EU laws is enough to shut down entire site and put a insanely high fine for each individual copyright infringement, so the fact the serve is in the France is a big deal.

Gotta love the Thought Police telling people what they can think and feel. In this one way, Netherlands and China are one and the same. You can't preserve freedom of expression without people being able to make things or say things that you might not like.

Well it wasn't just loli. It had craptone of stuff including vanilla and even some safe for work series. Imagine if your favorite porn site got taken down just because some of its content was controversial. Unless you don't watch porn ever, then screw you damn prude!, I mean think of something you use often. Seriously, imagine dynasty being taken down. First. it's a lot of hassle for everything to be saved and re-uploaded. It assumes someone actually bothered to back-up everything and that they also are interested in running new site from the ground. It's not easy and if you keep taking it down, at some point people will just give up. Also it's hassle for people who use it. New accounts, lost posts, lost favorite lists etc. And you act as if taking down decades old site and just making new one in it's place wasn't that big of a deal. That's is pretty arrogant and ignorant. Maybe you should think a bit more, because next time it can happen to something you enjoy,

In the meantime, further speculations about Dynasty's fate ought to be kept to a minimum. At this point the discussion amounts to theories based on speculation based on further speculation. Nothing to be gained from that.

Because it's very personal. You feeling nothing is exactly the issue.
