lol, this kid is pretty deep. I like it. Disappointed that the other girl disappeared so quick, though. I guess subtext is not even going to be a remote element of this story.

this story deserves a "depressing as fuck" tag. why did the mother leave? i feel so bad for both her and the child. im sure there's some deep meaning behind this but all i can think about is how scary it must be for your child to just disappear like that. and how scary it must be to go home and find your mother gone.

This was a nice read, felt like I could relate to a lot of the stuff she was thinking and how she expressed herself when I was her age (weird kid who wanted to disappear and wondered off on a regular basis... was certain I was gonna find dead bodies the places I wound up exploring for some fucked up reason, but I wasn't worried about it?) anyway nice to find a story as weird as my younger self
