Chata Maru's work is always nice to read, and the art is pretty cute and heartwarming too. Also, Meiling and Sakuya acting as Marisa and Alice "couple seniors" was really good.

Yeah, this one is going into the Favorites list. It's a nice, optimistic take on the "Outliving your love" trope that doesn't get too dramatic, or feels like it was resolved too quickly. For both Marisa and Alice, and for Sakuya and Meiling, they have plenty of time to figure that stuff out together.

Nah, but really I did love this one. Chatamaru's one of the best at AliMari and the story was super sweet.

cough but still not as sweet as if Marisa just became a true magician, you know, like Alice once did. She even expressed interest in immortality in some of the games, too. Why set a story about facing the reality of age and death in a world where it doesn't have to be that way cough wheeze

Well, it looks like the person in the comments of the other Chata Maru doujin got their wish for Sakuya/Meiling. I do wonder if we'll get to see Grandma Shinki in this verse at some point.

As others have pointed out, a good working of the life expectancy differences between human and youkai.

I really liked this one but- I think this is the first time I've ever seen the sdm's name kept none translated to koumaka - 'red devil' right? seems really weird to not call it scarlet devil (in english)
