Come to think of it, aren't the text "Dock 1" & "Now Docking" mistakenly swapped in the panel where Akagi yells "1st CarDiv's Pri~~~~~de~" and Kitakami yells back "Akagi shut up!"? According to the Dock 2 on its right, the "入渠中"(="Now Docking") label should appear on the top, and "Dock 2" should appear below it.

Yea the manga is way, waaaaaaaay better... The animation does not follow the manga closely, even most of the jokes were changed. Pacing is so off the rails cuz they introduced so many characters in such a limited range of time, they even skip over chapters... (I still can't believe they skipped the chapter where they realize their own feelings, it was great...)
