I don't get it...
This series isnt't even good and yet it has so much attention...

The series doesn't develop anything even in a comedic way which puts me off so much sometimes, however the manga seems to actually do this so.........maybe its like akuma bno riddle where the anime creators obviously just wanted money and the mangaka wanted to make a good manga

Yea the manga is way, waaaaaaaay better... The animation does not follow the manga closely, even most of the jokes were changed. Pacing is so off the rails cuz they introduced so many characters in such a limited range of time, they even skip over chapters... (I still can't believe they skipped the chapter where they realize their own feelings, it was great...)

I like it too for what it is- but i agree the manga is a lot better.

While I really enjoy the manga, the anime is just okay... The only outstanding thing about it was the original one they did about the catnip tea. For such a conventional style of animation, that one had a lot of effort put into it- dynamic colors and angles, multiple styles, etc. And, we get to see a totally uninhibited Nekoyama, who turns out to pretty sexy.

Anime and manga are just different, one cannot be better than another.
And that first comment from Jun 19, 2014 7:44PM - it can be written about any anime or manga or movie. It is just general phrase.

Manga better than anime....ohh like shin sekai yori now that is a good example i won't talk about the story much but man the anime NEEDS a WTF from A all the way to Z it went down hell fast light speed!!!!

The manga is awesome and it sometimes kinda dwells into emotions and stuff. The anime is pretty funny .
