Quite a bit of HonokaxNico recently which is nice

That question of, "What would you do if I were to disappear?" hits me so hard.

But, anyways, this was nice.

Both of them have experience creating idol groups and being insecure about it and they are 2/3s of the baka trio. But Nico would have unresolved jealousy still, I think ("You waltzed in and succeeded where I failed"). And unlike Maki, who'd have to tell herself to be tough and snap back (or initiate) when Nico is being mean, Honoka would be more easily hurt. Also theyre both domestic, don't know if that's good or bad.

What you can ask of a doujin is above all that it's true to the characters. While this one meandered around a lot more than it should have, frankly, it did achieve that. It's a very Nico question. She always wants to count for something in the world, and she'll never completely get over losing her father.

I got sad and this creeping feeling of utter loneliness that perhaps Nico really is gone...sheesh. Nico, don't scare Honoka (and I) that way!

I'm appreciating this little splurge of HonoNico, previously this ship was a bit bare and I didn't appreciate it as much

I think my tear ducts absorbed the tears as they were about to fall because the story gave a depressing ass vibe at first. I’m Maki x Nico all the way, but the recent Honoka x Nico stuff is enjoyable

My new theory: Nico KNOWS she looks a lot like a smaller Umi, and she's exploiting that to seduce Honoka and Kotori lately. After all, unlike Umi, she won't yell SHAMELESS! when it's time to hit the sheets, so Honks and Birb are taking what they can get.
