Nah, they weren't. Premodern cultures tended to avoid cutting textile like the plague whe making clothes for various technical reasons which is one reason variations of pretty simple tunics and wrap-around robes/coats/dresses were so universal. This lot would probably mostly be wearing leathers anyway...

Can see why Mira'd just ignore that detail and take a pile of artistic liberties already for the sake of visual interest.

Hide/leather clothing would probably be the most intricate, given that it could be cut without risking the whole thing starting to come apart. They probably would embroider the textile stuff, though.

Embroidery, fringing, sewing on all kinds of pretty little stones etc... there's no shortage of low-tech ways to decorate clothing certainly. The base designs themselves tended to be rather simple though.

Eh, I can kinda understand Juna. Imagine if you'd literally never even heard of the concept of homosexuality before, and then you end up stranded in a town that's all lesbians, all the time. It takes some time to adjust.

I think she doesn't see sex as a romantic commitment sort of thing, more as a thing to form connections. If the other girls actually talked to each other and Katra they'd be able to clear it all up but everyone is stubborn and oblivious lol. I'm not too into it either since I think there's going to be broken hearts coming out of this though.
